If  you are travelling trough Europe you might think to go to Italy as well . Of course, Rome would be one of the obvious destination within Italy.  That is an amazingly charming and fascinating place either you are deeply aware of the historical matters or not.

There are also a lots of guys that will try to make friends with pretty girls and try to have a corner of your heart if you will allow them. Seeing a guy trying to break the ice with a beautiful girl is not a rare thing to see in Rome and in Italy in general, is part of their culture and you should take it as compliment. Whether or not you choose to talk to them is just your choice.

Rome on average is not a dangerous city, especially the city center, where you as tourist are expected to spend most of your time. You should be aware, though, that not every person you meet is harmlessly flirtatious and charming - always proceed with caution when conversing with a stranger and never leave a crowded place to go with someone unless you are sure of who they are, or someone you know is aware of what you are doing and the name and contact information of the person you are going with.
