The hotel was certainly fancy schmancy, in terms of little bonus features, but not in terms of what I consider to be important: location. It was down kind of a long and out-of-the-way road in a very remote section of Rome, far from any of the major attractions. It was only acceptable for me since I was with a tour group, but I would not recommend it at all if you are relying on public transportation.
They have some "perks" like an in-room safe, mini bar, air conditioning, a little TV, phone, soaps, etc. but no pool. Most of the extras were quite expensive, especially the laundry service (several Euro for each article of clothing) and the mini bar items. Also don't take any advertisement claiming it has internet access very seriously, as it's only through the TV and is almost completely worthless.
The staff, however, at the front desk anyway, have wonderful English and are very helpful. They provide a free shuttle service from at least one of the train stations nearby, and are quick to reply if you email them for help.
