This was a wonderful place to stay in Roma. Off of Piazza Barbarini. Down a narrow ally/street, it feels hidden from the hecticness of the city. Our room have a small balcony overlooking an inner courtyard. The rooms were small and simple, but clean and comfortable. (Watch out for the slippery bathtubs!) Breakfast was served every morning with amazingly strong (but delicious) cappaccinos. As an alternative to the bigger breakfast, there is a cute bakery across the street. The hotel was very convenient to the Spanish Steps, banking, shops, subway, and other sites. Try to avoid the more expensive restaurants along Via Veneto where the food is okay and the prices outrageous. The only problem we had was trying to check in after arriving on an early morning flight, but I think that's a universal issue for people arriving from the US.
