Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights last week, we had a wonderful trip. The hotel is just around the corner from the Vatican, and was a 20-30 minute walk to most other attractions[Trevi Fountain, Spainish Steps, Piazza Navona]. The staff were very plesant and helpful. Breakfast, I thought it was only average. No toaster, not a great selection of cereals, coffee awful!! They don't provide an iron for rental at the reception desk like most hotels, this was a little inconvenient for us. Air conditioning in the bedroom was wonderful after a long hot day strolling around the city. The bar was always quiet, and on one of the nights it was closed. Some of the pictures of the hotel on this site are not of this hotel, but of their sister hotel, Atlante Star. The breakfast room in Atlante Garden did not overlook the Vatican City!!! Overall we enjoyed our stay, but for what we paid, I would have expected a little better.

My wife of 50 years and I traveled to Rome with our 15 year old grandson on June 1st, 2009. We stayed 4 nights at the Atlante Garden Hotel prior to our 10 cruise. We then returned to stay one more night at the Atlante Garden prior to flying back home to Florida.

I sent many emails back and forth with Roberta and she was extremely helpful and definitely the reason we selected this hotel.

We were extremely pleased with the hotel and staff. Our room was large enough for the three of us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My grandson and I especially enjoyed the roof terrace where we could sit in the evenings and talk. We also appreciated the close proximity to the Vatican; we found it to be a short walk to St. Peter's square. There was also a subway terminal within walking distance of the hotel allowing easy access to downtown Rome and all the attractions there. We also liked the free pick up service at the airport. Most shuttles are extremely expensive in Rome so this perk is definitely worth considering when looking for a hotel. The complimentary breakfast every morning was also very good.

All in all we considered ourselves very lucky to have found this Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone considering a trip to Rome.

I would recommend this hotel. Originally I had no clue as to where I would stay in Rome - so I spent a lot of time using Expedia to find hotels and then Trip Advisor to check the reviews and Google maps to pinpoint the location. Combine this with availability and it was some task! Regardless of all that, we were welcomed by friendly and efficient staff - very pleasant, who spoke perfect English. The room was beautiful. There is a free safety deposit box at reception for your valuables. Full continental breakfast was available for fifteen euros and was indeed very satisfying. Everything was clean and in good condition. The elevator was the size of a small shower cubicle though! We loved the location - it is so easy to find and a wonderfully convenient place to explore the Eternal City! It really is very close to the Vatican - close to the Metro (about a 10 minute walk). After we left, they sent an email in response to us completing one of those feedback forms - offering us 20% discount should we or family/friends wish to return. The sitting room was a teeny bit 'tired' and the room was facing a busy main street so it was a little noisy - but that didn't stop me thoroughly enjoying my stay, nor did it make me lose any sleep. I had a wonderfully relaxing time and was thoroughly happy with the service, location, room rates, food, comfort and cleanliness.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Atlante Garden Hotel. It's perfectly situated just outside the city centre, only a block away from the Vatican itself. The building itself was beautiful. I very much liked the roof terras with the little garden. From there you had a view over the whole city and more specifically the 'Borgo de Sant'Angelo'.
I am very satisfied about the service, rendered by Atlante Garden. They were always very friendly and their English was remarkable.
The breakfast was very good too.
