My 2 week trip to Italy was one of my best vacations. I only wish I could have stayed longer. And my stay in Rome was only enhanced by the two day private tour through When In Rome Tours. Our guide made sure we didn't miss a thing and was a pleasure. I definitley plan to use this company again when I return to Rome.

Myself and 4 friends recently traveled to Italy.

We went on a Rome by day and night tour with Celeste and it was wonderful. She was knowleable, fun and pleasant and catered the tour to 5 loud women. We had a blast and made the most of our one day in Rome. We probably took several hundred pictures between us and Celeste made our time in Rome a truly memorable experience.

The next day we spent with Joanna covering four villages is Tuscany. Again, she was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the area. The tour felt like we were traveling like the "rich and famous" even though the price, for what we experienced, was very reasonable.

I would highly recommend both of these trips and guides, especially if you are young and want to have a good time!

I took a tour with When in Rome tours not knowing anything about them.

It turned out to be one of the better decisions I made in the couple of days we had to spend in Rome. Kimberly our guide, was just magnificent!. Her vivid explanations and experience while using her dramatic and wonderful acting skills and particular humor almost made us feel like we took the time tunnel back to other time periods in Rome and the Vatican.
She took care of each and every one in our group's needs and demands as if she was responsible for everyone's personal joy of the tour.

Her views and knowledge and the way she transmitted it to us would be for ever memorable about our trip to Europe.
We took some great photo shots as well but I'm sorry I didn't take the video camera with me on that tour as it would have made it much better to remember her hilarious jokes and particular presentation ways of all those amazing treasures found in Rome and the Vatican.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon in Italy with days spread out across Rome, Pompeii and Capri. We went on several tours offered by When in Rome Tours and it was wonderful. The tour guides were exremely courteous, knowleadgeable and professional - they shared not only the historical facts but also went beyond and shared some of the folklore and Roman culture as well. The tour guides are familiar with Rome and offered great suggestions for restaurants, shopping and nightlife

We took several tours and the experience was exceptional and consistent - at the end we wished that the tour was longer.
The size of the groups are kept small which is a huge benefit as well. Most tour companies in Rome will book tours with over 50 individuals, making it a very chaotic experience. Our group was comprised of 6 couples, providing us with a very intimate and personal experience.
