La Bruschetta, Via Sardegna 39 (off of the Via Veneto). I'm not sure if they have outdoor tables. The area can be expensive but this place isn't.

This is closer to the Spanish Steps than the Borghese, but we walked there after being in the Gallery: Otello, recommended in Frommer's Rome Guide (I don't have the address handy). They have a lovely outside garden area and the food was good and reasonablly priced.
