My friend and I stayed here as it was women only and didn't regret it. Our room was big, very quiet, and clean. The bathrooms were large and kept clean. I'm really pleased I found Foresteria Orsa Maggiore on this site. It is a very reasonably priced and really nice and clean 'women' only hostel. I stayed for 5 nights in October the 4 person dorm for 26 euros with shared facilities. They provide a good breakfast, plus you can use the kitchen to heat/store your own food. There is... more

I stayed here for almost two weeks while in Rome for work. I highly recommend it for females. It is a 'hostel' but without the dirty bathrooms and noise. The trek from Termini is worth it. This place is comfortable, safe, and located in one of the loveliest neighborhoods in Rome: Trastevere. The staff are friendly and helpful, there is free internet access, rooms and bathrooms are clean, and there are hot showers. Even in the morning.
