I spent three nights at this hotel in central Rome. Perfect location to get to most of the main attractions around the city. The staff prepared a full breakfest buffet with a cozy seating area which allowed us to meet other guests from around the world. The staff spoke very good English and all of the restaurant recommendations were perfect.... more

The web site covers everything. Its an all new cosey hotel in a great spot, and with restaurants in walking distance. A familly run hotel, where Mum & Dad are always on hand - though speak no English, but one of the staff (I think perhaps their sons & daughters) do. I honestly cant find a thing to complain about.... more

This is a good choice of hotel for people wanting to be central, and being prepared to walk to the main sites rather than be on the main transport routes. Head in one direction and you can be at the Vatican in 30 minutes, and in the other to be at the Colosseum and Forum in 10 minutes. The staff... more

We spent 1 night at Artorius of 3 weeks away in Italy, all of our hotels were chosen from tripadvisor. We wished we had stayed longer here. In an old cobblestone section of Rome, walking distance from the train station and metro, we adored this hotel. Set off a narrow street that doesn’t seem like much from the outside, the... more

We found out during our trip that this was a very trendy. Absolutely spotless room and building. We were traveling for business as well as an extended stay to enjoy the city and were given a room with a terrace (too large to be considered a balcony). The staff was extemely attentive, often running after us to make sure that... more

The hotel is located in a great area- in close proximity to much of historic Rome. Most rooms are well maintained and fairly modern; the triple we stayed in even had an outdoor patio. However we had some issues with the hotel. The first was that the beds were very low-quality and uncomfortable. Everyone in our group woke up with... more

We arrived on a Saturday for a three night stay and could not have been happier. The staff were always there to assist with just about any question or need we had. The rooms are on the small side but beautifully appointed and absolutely spotless. I was surprised by how quiet it was at night given the very excellent central... more

This was an excellent find in a great quiet area of Rome. Centrally located, made it easy to walk to all of Rome's attractions and the hotel itself is wonderful. The staff were excellent, the food was beyond what I expected in the delightful breakfast room. Rooms were larger than I expected and very comfortable. Even the mini bar was... more

We found this hotel through Trip Advisor and are glad we took the advice to stay there. It is a great location and while it doesn't have a lot of amenities is perfect for Rome where there is so much to do outside the hotel. The staff have a great understanding of English and were very helpful with advice on... more

My 21 yo daughter and I stayed at Hotel Artorius on May 14. We arrived in Rome jet lagged and ready to stretch. They sent a driver to pick us up at the airport and tell us what we were passing as we drove into town. The hotel is small with a charming receptionist who checked us in and took... more
