Stayed here with my boyfriend in March 2008 after reading reviews on trip advisor. The hotel has a 3* rating but I think it deserves more. Well located, we walked everywhere. We just spent 3 nights at the Hotel Artorius. It is a little gem. The family that run it are so friendly and helpful...just ask and they oblige....extra pillow, early calls and even earlier breakfast. We could not find anything wrong with this hotel! Excellent 2 stars family run hotel. Ask for room 108 (with the terrace) or room 103. Spacious room and super clean bathroom. Very quiet thanks to soundproof windows. We loved the high-tech remote light sensors. Also, the security sensors to open the hallway doors made us feel very safe. Great breakfast.... more

This is a family run bed-and-breakfast that has been in operation about a year. Breakfast buffet was substantial and was served in a covered outdoor gazebo with a grape vine growing overhead. The Hotel Artorius is a fantastic little hotel. It is centrally located, clean, nicely decorated and the owners are very friendly. I've stayed in other European hotels but this was by far the best! I honestly cannot think of a single complaint. The breakfast was exactly the same each morning but it filled us and the cappucino was great. :-)... more
