Gulliver's Lodge was a bit hard to find, initially, but once found it was an island of solace in frenzied Rome. Be sure that, if you take the Leonardo Express from the FCO airport to Roma Termini, you exit the terminal through the Gates 1-24 area where all the shopping and ticket machines are. We exited at the first exit... more

Gulliver's Lodge B&B exceeded our expectations for a 2-night quick stay in Rome. We had a secure room in a secure building with many nice ammenities and the owner took the time to sit down with us and map out a plan to see the best of Rome on foot and public transportation given our timeframe and budget. Oh yeah,... more

Great accomodation, great host and fantastic experience. We would definitely recommend this B&B if you are looking for somewhere central, with excellent customer service and fab breakfasts (which I think can be hard to come by after listening to people who had stayed in different Hotels in Rome). The room was really pleasant, comfortable and quiet - with a mediterranean... more

We booked with Simon due to all of the good reviews on the internet and were not disapointed. Simon was a very gracious host and was instrumental in helping us plan our vaction and even finding other places for us to stay in italy. We HIGHLY recomend staying with Simon! more

Simon was an excellent host, welcoming us in the early afternoon with a cheery demeanor. Although we had researched most of what we wanted to do, Simon graciously offered to help us plan our stay to maximize our experience, and he gave us insight on some things about Rome we were not privy to. His insight was very helpful, and... more

&BDear Simon, My husband and I traveled to Europe for 19 days in 2008 and you are the best. We could not have asked for better service. Of all of the places that we stayed we felt the most at home and catered to at your B&B. Your facility to clean beyond compare and beautiful. I have and will continue... more

My wife and I returned from a week in Rome (25/12-01/01) and we stay at the Gulliver’s Lodge. Any word I’ll write here can’t describe the excellence treatment that Simon gave us, and the loveliness of the B&B. The B&B is located just 8 minute walk from the Termini station (with the luggage) and same distance to the coliseum. Bus... more

Spent three nights here with my wife in mid-December, at €90/night. I'm in full agreement with the praise heaped upon the proprietor, Simon, in the other reviews. His personal service really enhanced our stay. We arrived after midnight on a Thursday, and Simon stayed up late to greet us. He provides tips on places to visit, along with a map.... more

Our stay at Gulliver's Lodge B&B was great. You just have to meet Simon to fully understand the experience. When we booked, I was concerned about paying cash and frankly worried that all the glowing reviews about his B&B were fake because they were almost too good. As soon as we arrived my worries were gone. When we arrived, Simon... more

We spent 9 days at Gullivers Lodge in September. Our host, Simon, welcomed us with a cool drink on arrival (much appreciated at 9pm after a long day of travel), gave us a comprehensive city map and suggested various routes to take. Our room was spacious, clean and air-conditioned, most welcome after spending hours in the heat & dust of... more
