We were 3 families traveling together (8 people). We traveled from the United States to Germany, France and Italy for 17 days. We stayed in 5 different hotels. Hotel Selva Candida is in excellent position of Rome. The position of the hotel is not close to the Historical monuments (20 klm) but in a really quiet area. This is a nice hotel about 10 miles west of Rome. The rooms were very clean and the setting was quiet. It is a converted farm house and looks elegant. We booked the hotel from Florence after reading in the booking description it was only 7k from Rome City Centre.(direct line) The hotel was good for the accommodation side but the breakfast was basically dry bread, ham, cheese and chocolate pastries.
