We stayed here in a apartment for 4 nts in May 09 with 2 kids. Had a comfortable Romolo Apartment with 2 spacious rooms, kitchen and a long passage with bathroom. Howver after coming back in the evening on the 2nd day, we found to our astonishment that there was no cleaning service included in the steep price of E240... more

We were picked up at the airport by their limo service and spent 3 nights. Check in was easy and staff friendly and helpful. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with a balcony which looked one way to St Peters and the other to Castel Sant Angelo, and was great for an afternoon glass of Prosecco and watching life on... more

This was a wonderful hotel blocks from the Vatican with plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms were large airy and very clean. There was enough room for at least 2 more people in our apartment and everything necessary to cook if you so choose. The management was very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend for families traveling children or young... more

There are several different room/suite configurations all with kitchen facilities. It is quite close to the Vatican and Castle St. Angelo with public transportation near. It would be an excellent place for families with children. We enjoyed the many cafes and restaurants in the area. The staff is very pleasant, helpful and bi-lingual. Dennis and Patty Dewey more

Having booked this apartment over the internet, we didn't have a clue what to expect! so firstly thanks for all the tips! :) We arrived St. Stephens night and left the 4th of Jan. Weather was quiet cold throughout the week. Taking a taxi from the airport is ridiculous-for five people and luggage we were going to be charged €60,... more

Having just returned from a 5 day break in Rome, staying in a Remo (smallest) apartment at the Borgo Pio 2000, I can highly reccommend this accommodation, mainly due to the cost (very competetive compared with Rome hotels), cleanliness (very good), size (really spacious) and location (absolutely excellent) of these apartments. As we had not been to Rome before, I... more

We stayed at the Borgo Pio for 5 days; we had two rooms and my entire family of 10 enjoyed it. We were very comfortable; the kitchen and bathroom layout was very handy for a big family. We were able to share a lot of time and had a chance to cook a couple of times; allowing us to save... more

For a family, this is a great deal -- spacious apartment with a full kitchen located on a charming narrow street near St. Peters/ the Vatican (1 block north of Borgo Pio). Somewhat spare, but perfectly comfortable. Keep in mind that these are apartments, and not a full service hotel -- the office is open mornings, closed for lunch, then... more

I have just arrived back from Rome staying at the Borgo Pio 2000. Don't make the mistake that I did which was to get directions to Borgo Pio B & B which I think is in a completely different place as we walked round for three hours to find our apartments. Please note: the Borgo Pio 200i is on the... more
