I stayed in one of the single rooms for 8 nights and am happy to recommend the hotel. The hotel itself is great, the rooms, breakfast, the cleanliness all perfect. The outstanding feature though, is the staff. My first visit to Rome was wonderful experience because of the hotel staff. particularly Natalia and Franco. Nothing was too much trouble as... more

This hotel was within 15 minutes (with luggage) from the railway station. It was clean, had a varied breakfast and a reasonable sized room plus a lift. A good hotel; nice ammenities and nice/quiet room. Prompt check in, friendly staff, and a very good breakfast. 10 min walk from the central station in the direction opposite to the heart of the city, making the walk to the main sights even longer (though there is the subway at the central station of course). We are young and active... more

I took my 77 year old Mother to Rome to see the Vatican & St Peters Basilica. I booked the rooms through Expedia, requesting a smoking room for my Mother as she is a heavy smoker. Unfortunately it is a non smoking hotel (not made clear on the Expedia website), but after emailing the management , they said that they... more

Went to Rome with my Girlfriend for a long romantic weekend. We were not disappointed with either the Hotel or Rome and would highly recommend both! Easy Jet Flights - Nothing to exciting to tell you about - About a 2 hour flight from Stansted to Rome Ciampino Airport (the other airport is called Fiumicino, don’t get them confused!) Transfer... more

The S.Marco is only around seven minutes away from the station and the bus stop where you get off the Terravision bus if you use it from Ciampino airport as we did. The price was reasonable, the hotel is a small one and there are a few restuarants nearby , ideal for having a relaxing meal after an exhasting days... more

The location was perect for us and only a 7 minute walk from the Tremini station. The room we had was large... more

We booked online for 3 nights, 8-10 Dec 2006 at the San Marco. We booked through GTA hotels. There were 6 of us and we reserved 3 rooms. We paid by credit card online at the time of booking. We booked the San Marco on the basis of online reviews, because it had a bar and it was on a... more
