Pros: Great Location (hard to beat this location in Rome). 10 min walk from Vatican; 15min walk to the places like the Trevi Fountain & Pantheon. Giuseppe (the host) is very very helpful. Bedrooms and bathrooms are clean. Breakfast is what you would expect from a European B&B (its not a hotel!) & it is more then adequate. Cons: Street... more

A very nice B&B; comfortable bedding; very clean room. The owner is very nice and justifiably prides himself in making an excellent breakfast. I would go back just for the breakfast....he is a chef!!!! The room can be a bit noisy from traffic on the street below. The bathroom is very upscale. This B&B is within walking distance of many... more

We stayed here for four nights in June, the B & B is in a central position and close to all the major sights, but it is located on possibly the noisiest road in Rome, trying to sleep at night was like having a race track next to your bed. Guisseppe is helpful in giving you a list of restaurants... more

Our stay in Surprising in Rome was extremely pleasant and enjoyable. Everything from its price, location and interior decor was fantastic. The greatest thing about the B&B is its central location; located just a few hundred meters away from the Vatican, Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon, its so convenient it allows for a quick nap between sightseeing! The... more

This was the loveliest B&B my fiance and I had ever come accross. The owners were extremely hospitable and we were central to EVERYTHING! Breakfast was divine and the fantastic furniture and rooms add a great Italian feel to the trip. Would recomend to anyone as a nice weekend getaway more

After much sleuthing online, we decided to go with Surprising in Rome for our first ever trip to this unbelievable city. After an exciting taxi ride from the airport (which is only a few Euros more than if we had taken the train, then bussed, because of the price cap), we ended up in the heart of Rome, right on... more

This is wonderful B&B with well decorated, spacious, clean bedrooms (one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in), and marble bathrooms. Guiseppe is a FANTASTIC host, he greeted us with a bottle of wine and sat down with us to map out walking tours, great restaurant suggestions, and unique spots to experience traditional Rome, all catered to... more

This B&B was our best stay in Italy. Surprising in Rome B&B (SRBB) is located on Corso Vittorio Emanuele, on the fourth floor of a beautiful 19th century, six story building. There is a lift, but I prefered climbing the magnificent marble staircase. Our room was very spacious, very clean, and very modern. Noise did seep in through the window... more
