We stayed at Domus Romana for 4 nights at the end of March and we enjoyed our stay there very much. The hotel is located at an excellent place in Rome since it is both quiet and central. We could go to piazza Venezia in 5 min by bus ,as the bus station is only 2-3 min. away from the hotel.In... more

We really liked the Domus Romana - once we found it. Walked straight past on the first time - not fun in 30 degrees. You might mistake it for the entrance for a side street, there is an archway and a sort of pebbled floor on the left hand side if you are walking in the direction from the train... more

Within easy walking distance of the train staiton, but without the noise of the railway, this hotel was an ideal location to explore the sights of Rome. Most places were within walking distance, for those that weren't the bus stop was a two minute walk. TRhe hotel is located off of the main roads and set around a peaceful courtyard... more

This hotel is awsome, we stay in many hotels in the past trip to rome, but this one is beautiful. The hotel is located near the main avenues in Rome, a little door is the front door. A small reception, but the rooms are large, beautiful, big bathroom, a table to seat with two seat, hardwood floors in the room,... more

This was our third time in Rome (previously in 1980 and 1984) and enjoyed every single minute of it. The Domus Romana is a nice and very charming small hotel very well located even for us that are more than 60 years old. There are several small places to eat, have a beer or a glass of wine in the... more

We stayed at this hotel for three days in June 08. We enjoyed that experience and the location was very nice. Far enough but not too much from the train station and one block away from the Opera. Breakfast was good, various and fresh. Personnel very helpful and kind ! Room was huge and well decorated ! Bathroom was clean and... more

My husband and I were very happy with the accomodations and service at the Domus Romana. We were on the top floor and had a huge balcony, practically our own courtyard really. I wish the weather had been slightly warmer, we would have taken advantage of it. The room had a separate sitting area with a small cooktop and fridge.... more

Lovely old monastery, carefully adapted to retain lots of original features, such as arched/beamed and/or decorated ceilings and thick walls.. Rooms were large, comfortable and very clean, as was our bathroom. Rooms are set round a central courtyard, with a fountain. The breakfast room opens off this, and there are tables outside which are great for relaxing with a glass... more

We spent 2 weeks in Italy with another couple and Rome was our third stop on the trip. The hotel itself is in a great location, in walking distance to everything (except the Vatican, you would need to take the bus- but its very easy). The people who worked at the front desk of the hotel were not always the... more

Just came back from a 5 days visit to Rome. Me and my wife we loved the Domus Romana.( Via delle Quatro Fontane). I can highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers when visiting the eternal city. The Domus is a small hotel, means quiet, located in the city center, in walking distance from Trevi, Pantheon and even from the... more
