After much research (especially on Trip Advisor), we decided that Hotel Alimandi in Vaticano would be a fabulous choice. I had read that booking this hotel through Rooms Accommodation was very advisable. So...about a year ago, we booked two rooms with balconies for 180 euros a night for two nights for June of 2008. Several months later, we were forced... more

My daughter and I stayed at the Hotel Alimandi Vaticano for 6 nights at the outset of our recent visit to Italy. The hotel is located literally right across the street from the entrance to the Vatican Museum - couldn't be better ! Many of the "must-see" places are within walking distance, such as the Trevi Foundation, Piazza Navonna, the... more

We spent 4 very pleasant nights at this hotel. We were up-graded from the b& b option on arrival and although our room was quite small it was adequate in every way. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean. But, for me the main attractiion of this hotel was the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners and staff - particularly the breakfast... more

We had a very cheerful welcome and immediately some really useful tips about how to maximise our time and avoid queues which were invaluable to making sure our weekend went as smoothly as possible. After experiencing the high prices around we were pleased to find the hotel offering very reasonable drinks prices. The rooms were immaculate, the service excellent and... more

Although I have not yet stayed at the Hotel Alimandi Vaticano, I have been communicating with the staff since October 2007 regarding my reservations for this April. I have had excellent and prompt service to all of my E-mails - I have not travelled to Rome before and have had a lot of questions ; to which I have been... more

The Hotel Vaticano.. Booked 3 nights here based on the good reviews found on tripadvisor. Really enjoyed the stay at what I suppose is a reasonable rate given that it is Rome and is at the Vatican! I found the location great .. easy to find especially having just arrived from the airport or making your way around.. well the... more

This hotel is in an excellent position if you want to visit the Vatican museums, however, be prepared for a 30/40 minute walk to get into central Rome. I booked the Hotel through it's own website i'd booked a superior room but when we arrived we were given a superior room with TWO king sized beds, not very romantic. When... more

It is a great hotel. My wife and myself stayed for Easter and we loved it. It was a big room with a very comfortable bed and a big toilet recently renovated. The location is good, but not as good as to be near the Fontana di Trevi or Pantheon. I would certanly recommend it. more

Is this the number one hotel n Rome? The answer is definitley not. The Good 1) The hotel is spotlessly clean 2) The staff are friendly 3) The bathroom goodies are great The Bad 1) The hotel must be on one of the nosiest steets in Rome - light sleepers avoid 2) The family room was very small, room for... more

Dear Client, We thank you for your choosing us and your positive remarks about our Staff, cleaness room. We are sorry that your stay has been not perfect. Our location is a good thing because our clients have to cross the street to reach the Vatican Museum entrance and in this way they don't need a long queue but at...
