Despite being slightly apprehensive after reading a few dodgy reviews on this and other websites, me and my other half thought it was fantastic. We stayed in one of the Firenze cabins, which are the most basic and cheapest, and we loved it. It was a bit small, but was clean, had air con, a fridge and a nice bathroom... more

Note the 4star accommodation/flight package via Lastminute.com or similar gets you the compact metal trailer divided in two. It´s called a bungalow, but very different from the luxury expensive bungalows available. Bungalows are about 10 mins walk from the entrance. Free buggy transport almost never available. Bungalow/Cabin is reasonably comfortable with 2 single beds, small fridge, air con/heating combo, small... more

After arriving at Ciampino airport we found that there was no shuttle service that could pick us up as we had not booked in advance! We telephoned the hotel and they told us it would cost 50 euros in a taxi to get to them (it actually cost us 80 euros). On site it just got worse although initially the... more

Although this place is well connected by train/bus and is near to the tarin station, but inside the village, you would have to walk a lot to reach your room. This is like a big park which has reception at the entrance and then you walk further in the park to go to your room and also you have to... more

We, 2 adults & 2 children ( 13 + 9 ) stayed here for 5 nights in June2007. We arrived at 10: 30 pm by the shuttle bus from the airport to Flaminio Village ( pre booked with campsite - 12.50 Euros per person). We were booked into an Ischia bungalow with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and air con. The... more

Stayed at Flaminio Village in a cabin for 4 nights earlier this month. Cabins (not bungalows) are about 20 euros/night so are really, really cheap for Rome. They are basic - metal trailers, divided in two. Room had two single beds (but you can put them together we found) with a small cupboard to the side for luggage. You share... more

Like some other reviewers, we were slightly disappointed that the campsite was so far from Rome city centre and that it meant having to leave Rome at a certain time in the evening in order to get back there. This was slightly restrictive but we coped. We found that the areas designated for tents were a littlle too rocky and... more

Unlike what the others wrote about it, the staff was friendly, it was very quiet, clean and green. ;))) We stayed in a Positano bungalow of 4 people and were very pleased with the accommodation. It is not true that there is no bus going from the camping to the city centre, it is a bus, just in front of... more

We stayed as a group of 31 people in the village from April 6th to 11th in the Positano cabins which were VERY basic. After arriving just after midnight we found that some cabins had no sheets or spare blankets and in ours we couldn't get the gas to work. The result was a very cold and hot drinkless first... more

We thought we had booked a luxury private twin ensuite bungalow, with mini fridge and aircon. What we had actually booked was a rusty tin shed, with a shared bathroom (if you could call it that), no fridge, no aircon and no plug sockets that looked safe enough to risk using. flaminio couldn't upgrade us to what we thought we... more
