We went to Rome to attend a friend's wedding. Based on the location of their reception we picked a region to stay in and the Spanish Steps area seemed close. The building is probably 500 years old and the entrance and miniature elevator are not very welcoming. The room itself was actually decent (bizarre wallpaper choices) though oddly shaped. My wife and I stayed here in the fall of 2006. This property is not a hotel but more like an Inn. The room was clean and neat. The staff was friendly. There is no concierge and the staff was not able to book side trips of reservations. Breakfast was delivered to our room after we filled out a form... more
