The room was so small that we had to dress ourselves one a a time! Far away from the main atractions. Always had to go by bus or train. Average breakfast. Not very expensive thow... more

We recently stayed at this hotel while in Rome. We found the rooms to be inviting, clean, and comfortable. Good city location (although a bit traffic noise at night) ,and friendly service. more

We stayed at the Villa Rosa Hotel Sept 08 and found it was excellent value for the price we paid. The room was a good size, nice bathroom. Breakfast was fine and the staff were very helpful and courteous. Excellent location to get into the centre of Rome. Regular bus/train routes opposite the hotel. Try to book a room at... more

I stayed at the Villa Rosa Hotel, Rome, recently during a school trip. On a school trip one does not expect to stay in a 5* hotel but I did hope that this hotel would be better considering it has earned its 3*s (somehow)! The rooms we stayed in cost €100 per night which could just about accomodate 2 or... more

We decided to choose a three star hotel slightly outside of the main tourist areas in Rome because we figured we'd get more for the money - boy were we wrong! It was so far out of the city that no one at the train station (information desk, hotel desk, bus drivers, etc) knew where it was, and we ended... more

On the whole this was a really great litte hotel. It was clean, the staff were friendly and were only to pleased to help out with directions, requests etc. The walls did seem a little thin and you can hear the louder guests now and again. It is of the main drag a little and on arriving you do get... more

Stayed here for one night. This was the cheapest place available in Rome, apart from some cheap shared bathroom accommodation near Termini. Paid 95 EUr for a double. The room was fine, we had asked for a room at the back and it was really quiet. The location of the hotel is very practical- getting to the airport is really... more

We have just come from a short visit to Rome and loved the Hotel Villa Rosa. It was absolutely clean towels, sheets and all. The staff were very helpful and all spoke good english. Breakfast was good but could have been alittle more varied. But on the whole it was a good stay and we will surely return to it.... more

Stayed on two occasions this year at the villa rosa hotel. Each time I was very happy. The location is pretty convenient with the tram, several buses and the trastevere station 3 minutes away. The room are a little bit small but very clean, the AC is working fine. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is good.... more

This place is OK. The room we had was 2 single beds, and too small for them, we had to move them apart for actual sleeping. The shower would have been a squeeze for someone of more generous dimensions. The aircon was fine, and needed to be as our room overlooked Giancolense, where emergency vehicles seemed to be up and... more
