GREAT place to stay!! This area of North Rome is really well off, completly safe, and boasts plenty of shopping. You are less than five minutes away from the Vatican, and can easily walk to the old city center. Odds are you will not do this sine the metro is right at your front door!! Apart from the good price, the best thing about Federici is its location right next to the Metro (Ottiviano) and a few minutes walk from St. Peter's Square. We stayed for 4 nights and were very happy with the find. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained. The location was superb, right next to the metro station and a 5 minute walk to Vatican city.
