We booked this hotel online after reading a lot of good reviews for it. After staying in 6 good hotels in Switzerland and Venice, when we reached Rome, we were not expecting such a shock. The hotel wasn't very far from the Termini (train station), which was a good thing. But if you have luggade, then its best to take... more

For a 2 star hotel,i was very suprised, the customer service of the staff was great especially Virgilio, who was vey helpful. Location of this hotel is fantastic smack bang in the city centre, close to all the main attractions. The hotel advertises shared bathrooms but i had a room for four and we had own bathroom which was great... more

Only a 10 min walk from Termini Station and easy to find. The area seemed perfectly safe. About a 10-12 min walk from the Fora Romano and Imperilli and Trevi Fountain. There is a nice gelato place just a block down on Via Cavour. Staff speak English and her accomodating. They are perfectly content with letting you come and go... more

For the money and the location this was a good buy. Don't like sharing a bathroom down the hall, but that was offset by the hospitatality of Virgilio. The breakfast was also very good. I have to say I haver never had anyone want to make sure that my son and I had coffee and something to eat at 4:45am... more

The desk staff for the three hotels in this group - in particular, the staff at Saturnia and the Fellini - were wonderfully accommodating! They worked to find available rooms when we appeared without a reservation; they stowed our gear when we took at overnight jaunt to the coast, and the two restaurant recommendations they gave were the best two... more

We found this hotel by wandering into it when we were in Rome, exasperated that we could not find a reasonable place to stay. It turned out to be a fantastic discovery for us. The thing that makes this hotel is its kind, generous and helpful staff--which can be a big bonus after a long day of being shuffled here... more

The Hotel Saturnia is in a great location (although it is down a dodgy alley of the main road!!), however do not be conned by the website, I do not believe the rooms they have pictures of are actually in this hotel!! If you are looking for a cheap and basic place to crash then this is ideal but I... more

What a nice place to live Rome! We spent there one week and we really feel like home. This place is managed from a family, they told us, so everything is well done. They take care about clean, about breakfast (fresh croissant and rolls every morning, ham, cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt and homemade cake) so they doesn't leave nothing casually.... more

Perfect stay in Rome. We book it on direct website after reading all rewiews on the web and definetely the best for room size, location and very helpful staff. We had a room on second floor, a new one, with flat tv and all comfort. But the best is the location and the staff. hotel is located near Colosseum but... more
