The car service they booked from the airport was a great and reasonable convenience at 40E. A driver picked us up, carried our bags, didn't allow us to get in his chic mercedes until the air conditioner had kicked in, and pointed out many landmarks as we drove for an hour in heavy traffic. The Hotel Golden is in a pretty good location and very reasonably priced for Rome. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable but the bedroom and bathroom were very small. We stayed 3 nights and the room was fine for this long but might have felt cramped if we'd stayed for a whole holiday. more
