Lovely stay at the Residenza Argentina . The hotel is effectively on the 3rd floor of a block but don't let this put you off. Our room (IV) was very comfortable (jacuzzi bath, shower, mini bar etc.) and the service is excellent (very good English). Five minutes walk gets you to the Pantheon, Isola Tiberina and the Wedding Cake (Piazza... more

We're annual visitors to Rome and have watched prices of a couple of our favorite hotels rise dramatically (both against the Euro and in real terms), so this time, in recession mode, we searched for someplace nice and well-located in the 200 Euro range - thinking we'd probably have to settle for something near Termini or further afield than we... more

I was pleasantly surprised with this place (note: it isnt really a full Hotel with all the usual amenities, but does the job if you dont require concierge service, gym, restaurant etc.). The standard of the rooms is very good (I would say about 4-stars). I had free Internet access. The breakfast is basic, but ok as it was included... more

YES, YES, YES to Residenza Argentina. This fantastic little boutique hotel was our home away from home in Rome. Firstly, the staff were absolutely outstanding. They are helpful, friendly and willing to do almost anything to ensure your stay is comfortable. They welcomed us at night and greeted us with a smile in the morning. We stayed in the hotel... more

This is a lovely small hotel, very central and convenient for the sites. The room was modern, spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fairly standard european fayre. more

Room was superb and the staff were really friendly. Nice breakfast and service was excellent from arrival to departure. You don't get a key to the main door and I thought i would be annoyed at having to buzz to get in, but I wasn't at all. The guys are always there to let you in no matter what time... more

Great hotel, good central location. The room was spacious with a big bathroom. Our window was against the courtyard so it wasn't too loud. The staff there was helpful for everything. The recommended a local restaurant for dinner, and the lobster linguine was the BEST pasta i've ever had. I would highly recommend this place! more

This charming place was tucked away inside an inner courtyard behind garage doors facing the sacred ruins near Teatro Argentina. The three of us squeezed into t hetiny elevator and loved it everytime. We loved the location, the price and breakfast. They made great cappicinos and served cheese, ham, fruit and great breads daily. Everything was fresh and newly renovated.... more

The rooms are very clean and modern and the staff (usually the one manager at the desk) is very friendly and helpful. However, guests must be aware of several things: The entrance to the residence is located in a busy square behind a set of rail tracks. This means if you plan on arriving by taxi with any luggage, you... more
