I booked a trip for 26 adults to stay in Hotel Center 123 for the six nations weekend. As I booked for a large group, I basically tried to find the cheapest option. When I booked this hotel I warned all in my party that the hotel was not going to be great as all the reviews I had read... more

The room was very small and in need of renovation. I’ve never seen such an old tv system – couldn’t even figure out how to turn it on. You could barely turn around in the bathroom it was so small. I went out to see the sights, and when I returned to the hotel around 9:30pm, the door was locked.... more

If your looking for a budget this hotel is great and has a fantastic location to Manzoni and Termini station which can you take you to the main historical places. Buy a weekly ticket which is €16.00 or a day ticket which will cost €4.00 valid till midnight It is clean and the staff were friendly and helpful especially where... more

The good news is the hotel was basically clean. But beyond that-the staff was polite but definitely not friendly. And were less than helpful when we needed assistance finding a phone number because our flight was canceled. Actually, I was told I was wrong my flight was fine and it was made abundantly clear I was bothering him. I was... more

Stayed for one night before going to the airport. We arrived at the address specified by the hotel, only to learn they had booked us into "Hotel Center 3", so we had to drag our luggage up stairs and find this other one. The room smelled of bleach, there was a creamy-looking substance on the carpet, along with other stains.... more

There are many complaints about this hotel. We happened to stay here for our honeymoon. Sure it is not the most glamorous room in all of Rome, but at the same time, when you are in Rome, there is so much to see -- the last of our focus was the condition of the room. The hotel is a 10... more

This hotel was part of a package tour of Italy with gate1travel.com This hotel is AWFUL! Whatever you do please don't ruin your trip and stay here. Location: This hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the main train station in Rome. I jokingly said to my husband while we pulled into Rome "oh look there's the ghetto!" Little did... more

This hotel is located about 1/2 mile from the train station, so that was nice. But the part of town it's in feels unsafe (but we never ran into any problems). Lots of graffiti, lots of traffic, and lots of noise. The rooms have a nice little terrace which was nice. Tile floors. The maid service was poor, the shower... more

We stayed at the Hotel Center 1 during our honeymoon. The room was small, but adequate, and a good deal for the money. But during the trip, someone got into our room (without forcing the door) and stole our two iPods. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, they were completely unsympathetic and unhelpful. One girl at... more

First of all, arriving at Termini station late at night then walking to the hotel can seem a bit dodgy - it's about a 15-20 minute walk through what seems like a slightly ghetto area, with rubbish dumpers everywhere and men hanging out on the street, but we didn't have any problems. Just make sure your luggage is easy to... more
