My boyfriend and I stayed at Albergo Piave for 4 nights in late April 2009. I chose this hotel for the price- I got it for about 95 Euro per night. I was considering other hotels closer to many of the sites that were also much larger and had more ammenities, but the price of this hotel and its ratings... more

We stayed at Albergo Piave over the weekend for a pleasure trip in Rome and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a budget hotel with style. Albergo Piave is located in a beautiful residential area, nearby many embassies. We appreaciated the quietness of the area after spending all day sightseeing in the busy streets of Rome. When booking... more

Recently visited Italy and Albergo Piave was my first stay. Great location within a 10 minute walk to the Rome Termini. Was traveling alone, and felt very safe here. Modestly spacious room, however someone working at the hotel smoked on occasion, and it could be smelled in my room. Good breakfast. Communication with staff challenging in the evenings - english... more

Really a great place if you're on a tight budget (all you backpackers out there!). The rooms are extremely clean. AC works perfectly (and you need AC in Rome). The shower is better than a shower you'll find at a 4 star hotel! That was my favorite part of the room. And trust me that when you walk outside all... more

We neither loved nor disliked the Piave. All things considered our stay was definitely more positive than negative, but we probably wouldn't stay again for the minor conveniences it did not have. On the positive side: The hotel is very nicely maintained and decorated, from the cool floors in the hallway to the breakfast room to the rooms and bathrooms.... more

We booked Hotel Piave as the reviews on the web were good. However I'm sad to say we had a rather unpleasant stay overall. The room was very small but fine and the owner was very sweet and jolly with my bad Italian as was the other concierge, so I am sad to have to give this straight report. A... more

We stayed at The Albergo Piave for a week and found it to be very clean and all we needed as a base in Rome. We had a double room which was two large singles zipped together and the bathroom had an excellent shower. Breakfast is standard continental fare but it was always fresh and you could eat as much... more

I stayed for a night....our room was not ready at 11 am so we were politely asked to wait..but seeing the room we were happy and found it worth..it was clean decorated and tidy... the entrance is a bit rusty , the lift shaky but hotel is good enough....The staff was helping and the lady at breakfast table was a... more

I stayed here with my husband for 4 nights and it was very nice experience. The room was decorated beautifully and the breakfast was lovely. Sometimes you could here voices from the corridor quite easily and there wasn't much english tv-channels, but we didn't come to Rome to watch tv. It was easy to walk to the main sights and... more

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Albergo Piave for six nights (from July 29-Aug. 3) during our recent stay in Rome. For the money, I can't imagine a nicer, cleaner hotel in a comparable area of Rome. The Albergo Piave is a bit off the beaten path (at 14 Via Piave), but it is near-enough to anywhere one might... more
