Rome is not a cheap city to stop in and so its difficult to find a bargain hotel. I guess for Rome the Ada is cheap, but compared to elsewhere its not. The room we stopped it was a bit tatty, clean but dated. The wall paper was a very dirgy coloor and the wall had one or two stains... more

When we entered the room, we almost toppled backwards from a horrible mould smell. Huge stain at the ceiling from water spotting. (painting the walls in the same colour was a tricky idea but couldn´t deceive THAT smell. My boyfriend has asthma and got problems with breathing that night). The bedsheet had yellow stains on it. Cold airdraught from a... more

My husband and I stayed at the Adas over the Christmas holidays. I have to say that it is really a great deal! The location is amazing just around the corner from the colosseum (which of course was our first stop as tourists) The rooms are really comfortable and clean. While we were there the hotel staff gave us loads... more

We stayed in Adas for 4 nigths in December. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel is location is very good. The staff actually gave us very good hint about reastaurants etc. We had our room in second floor so there was not any problems with the elevator and it was easy to leave the key to... more

I was there 3 years ago. My initial idea was to find a hotel which is located somewhere near the Colosseum area and, in the same time, to be not too far from the Rome's main train station Termini. And, actually, Adas is really only 'one street' from the station and only 'one corner' to Colosseum: the street Via Cavour,... more

After reading all (mainly negative) reviews on tripadviser about Hotel Adas in Rome, we had very low expectations. We even wanted to book another hotel. But we were glad we did not. Although not everything was perfect we were still happy with our choice. So on to our review: The room was very clean and big enough. There's a safe... more

We just arrived from Rome and stayed 5 nights at the Adashotel. I was scared to go there because of the previous reviews, but the hotel was ok. You can't expect much if the hotel costs less than 500 usd/5 nights/double room. The lady in the reseption was very friendly. We had a nice room on the 2nd floor. It... more

Our stay at Hotel Adas was not a very pleasant one. When we arrived for check in, we discovered that we would have to pay an additional 5 Euros per day to rent the air conditioning! I've stayed at a lot of hotels and I've never had to rent air conditioning in my life. We then discovered that our room... more
