Our 4 night stay in mid-May was absolutely fantastic. They have very comfortable clean rooms. From our first booking inquiry via email the staff was extremely helpful. Setting up transportation from the airport as well as helping plan site-seeing activities from simple reconnaisance walks to organized tours. The breakfast was not extravagant but more than adeqate with plenty of cereals,... more

We've just returned from a 4 day break in Rome to celebrate my wife's birthday. It's always tricky to get the right combination of location, service, comfort, price etc when you're doing a city break and so I read the reviews on here. The Daphne almost consistently ticked all the boxes so I chose it. It's just round the corner... more

We stayed here four nights in early May, and we were very pleased with our selection of the Daphne Inn Veneto. After staying in tiny rooms with hard mattresses for a week and a half prior, we were pleasantly surprised by the spacious, comfortable and clean rooms at the Daphne. The beds were super comfy, which made it difficult to... more

We stayed at the Daphne Hotel on March 17, 2009. It was my third night in Rome and a friend's first. We wanted a place that would be quiet for sleeping, but in a good location. The Daphne Veneto was that and more. Elyssa gave us a great walking tour of Rome's historic center with suggestions for stops along the... more

first, let me say that i am here in rome on business, and given that, i really don't recommend the daphne. when i've needed something, i've had to call four or five different phone numbers--most of which go directly to voice mail. when the cab dropped me off, i had a hard time finding the place, as there is only... more

All i can say is wow! was impressed with this hotel service before i even got to Rome. they were very responsive in e-mails, taking the time to detail exactly how to get there from either airport and offering an itinary for us to make the most of our stay. Myself and friend booked a room each and we were... more

Having read the reviews here, I chose to stay with my girlfriend for our first visit in Rome. Well: the location is perfect, REAL walking distance from Veneto, Spanish Steps, Condotti, Fontana di Trevi and Barberini's(affordable) market, ie the places that you need to revisit (shopping, restaurants, romantic walks). We also walked to piazza Navona, Pantheon and Colloseum, there are... more

We contacted the Daphne six months before our visit to Rome and were so surprised when they informed us that they were all sold out! When they contacted us approximately two weeks before our visit, we jumped at the chance to fill in on a cancellation. From the get-go, I was amazed by the Daphne's level of service. They immediately... more

I just can't say enough about this hotel. Actually it is part of a condominium complex. We shared a two room suite on the first floor with another couple. The room between our two bedrooms was a great place to gather for a glass of wine after a long day or to check email on the hotel's computer. The rooms... more

Much better than I was expecting Great location, nice, modern, clean rooms; good breakfast. Absolutely fantastic and helpful staff which makes a huge difference. Only downside was our room had external (via the hallway) entry to the bathroom, which was still private bathroom. Free internet/laptop use in common area Good value, would stay again. Overall highly recommend it. more
