We booked through a local travel agent, but this place is totally appalling. In short, it stank, was noisy, furniture was broken, but most of all, it was unsafe. The bricks around the door frame were loose - it had obviously been broken in to before. There's no air conditioning of any description, but we dared not open the windows... more

There were 4 of us staying in the room. We were at the front of the hotel with NO AIR CONDITIONING on a street where apparently no one sleeps, ever. There were cable cars going by and vespas at all hours. It was impossible to sleep. We requested to be moved to a room at the back of the hotel... more

WE have just returned from a lovely week in Rome, to be fair when we booked the hotel we were struggling for accommodation and all reviews read were not favourable.
