Had 3 nights at the hotel. Room was very small and basic, but sheets were clean and bathroom OK. Very noisy at night because of many groups of students. Breakfast very basic, but OK. All in all value for money with pretty good location near to Termini and 1 km to Colosseum. Security seems OK with cameras. Found a digi-camera... more

The location of this hotel couldn't be better. The room itself was scarey. Wouldn't reccomend for single women or group of women. The doors seemed like they could have been knocked down by a gust of wind. We stayed in the room with 7 beds and nothing else. When we left for the day we came back and the furniture... more

I think that the hotel must have been improved since these reviews as this hotel was more then satisfactory. Cheap and in a brilliant location. Room had what you needed considering your in Rome so shouldnt really be spending too much time stuck in your hotel room! Was clean, hot shower, staff were friendly and in a brilliant location near... more

We booked through a local travel agent, but this place is totally appalling. In short, it stank, was noisy, furniture was broken, but most of all, it was unsafe. The bricks around the door frame were loose - it had obviously been broken in to before. There's no air conditioning of any description, but we dared not open the windows... more

There were 4 of us staying in the room. We were at the front of the hotel with NO AIR CONDITIONING on a street where apparently no one sleeps, ever. There were cable cars going by and vespas at all hours. It was impossible to sleep. We requested to be moved to a room at the back of the hotel... more

WE have just returned from a lovely week in Rome, to be fair when we booked the hotel we were struggling for accommodation and all reviews read were not favourable. Clean towels were not available unless asked for, rubbish bins were emptied and left in the room. the shower has no curtain and flooded the floor. could have been cleaner.... more

I have just got back from spending 4 nights in Rome at thia hotel. First impressions wern't bad as the lobby area was quite quaint. After spending a considerable amount of time trying to find the place, our room was not ready. We arrived at 12.30pm! We then had to put our cases in the dining area (which everybody does... more

We were at Hotel Acropoli for one week in the last week of April. It was a schooltrip. We were with 5 persons and we had the largest room. Others, whit 4 persons, slept on a 2-persons room!!!! In the bathroom there was missing a shower-curtain, towels and the water is flooding. The most of the beds were ok, and... more
