We are a middle aged couple and stayed in Morpheus in a double room for 5 nights, we had tv, shower and toilet in our quite large room, which was clean and was cleaned daily. Only twin bed was missing. Personnel was very nice and helpful, breakfast in continental style. Morpheus is situated in an old house, where the lift... more

We found this hotel through a Rick Steves guidebook. I was bitterly disappointed in this hotel, given that we have had good luck with other R.S. recommendations. We are pretty laid back travellers and travel alot, but this hotel was way below par. During our 4 day stay, the Morpheus was under construction. No communication was provided of construction prior... more

The 3 night stay at MORPHEUS B&B was dictated by the weather. Original chosen booking was at the sister hotel Antiteatro Flavio but the room had been rain damaged and the offer to move to the newly renovated 5th floor at Morpheus was too good to resist after a 3am get up. The Morpheus was only a street off Via... more

My husband and I stayed at the Morpheus B&B in Rome for 4 nights from 10/12/08 – 10/16/08. To sum it up… we got what we paid for. We bought our stay through hotels.com for $195 a night with all fees and taxes. That’s a cheaper hotel in Rome. Be careful, most hotels don’t have a private bathroom. Our room... more

For the price, this is a good bargain right in the heart of the historic district of Rome. It is on the 4th floor of an old building, and so the rooms are small. It was somewhat of a squeeze for our family of four. But they are clean and functional, and the beds were comfortable. The refrigerator didn't work... more

Me and my husband stayed at Morpheus B&B for 4 nights and were very satisfied with the choice. It wasn't easy to pick the right accomodation from all the possibilities you find on the internet so tired after a long search we decided to go with Morpheus which seemed "OK" for what we were looking for. How pleased we were... more

I recently stayed at a great little Bn'B right in the middle of Rome. The Residenza Morpheus had a cool lift that took you to the fourth floor - that was lovely - very old fashioned. I went with three girls under 14 and they loved it. We were within walking distance of many major attractions and very close to... more

If you are a lone traveler looking to find inexpensive accommodation in an expensive city, the Morpheus will work, but you get what you pay for. Sucky things: I had no phone in my room and had to use the front desk hotel to make calls. Bed was not comfortable and quite short even for me (I’m about 5.5) Bedding... more

An almost-value-for-money hotel. This is on the 4th floor of that building. Rooms are not very spacious but not small either. Room has lots of storage furniture which can be really helpful if you are staying for more than 2-3 days. Breakfast served in room is ok. My wife found it to be more than what she could eat and... more
