Just returned from 3 night stay. Good clean, comfortable hotel, breakfast was the normal continental but this was fine to set you up for the day. The spa bath was a nice treat after the day of sightseeing. Friendly helpful staff. The location was great most sights within walking distance and the metro just at the end of the road... more

Stayed at the hotel in April 2009. Easy to find just 5 min walk from nearest metro station. within waling distance to all major sights. we booked a superior room thinking it would be slightly better than the usual standard rooms.it was an ok size but smaller than i would have expected for paying more money, we ended up changing... more

Visited Rome for the 5th time. The hotel was great, perfect location, 1 min to Metro, 2 min to fountain Trevi, and the centre of the city. Very clean, small, the rooms are comfortable, not too small and with a clean nice modern bathroom. The street is not too noisy during the night or in the morning. The hotel staff was extremely... more

Stayed here for four nights at the end of February. This is a small hotel which is in a great location - approx 10 mins walk to Trevi fountain /Spanish steps and 150m from metro. Plenty of restaurants in the general area. The hotel has a single door frontage and a small lobby area. The room (303) was small but... more

We stayed in this hotel on our honeymoon. We stayed on the fifth floor in their largest room. We did not pay for the expensive room, but upon check in where upgraded since their other rooms where full. It was fairly large for European standards. With a hard mattress, two night stands, a desk and a chest. The bath room... more

Myself and my boyfriend stayed at L'hotel Cinquantatre for 4 nights at the beginning of November. We booked a superior room through the Ryanair website and on arrival were told we had been up-graded to the deluxe suite - Room 502. I'm not sure what the difference between the superior room and deluxe suite is, however, we were not dissapointed.... more

My wife and I stayed at L'Hotel Cinquantatre for a week in early November 2008. The location is great, less than a block from the Barberini metro station and a taxi stand, and walking distance to central Rome. We got a good package rate with airfare. Our room was a superior double on the back side of the hotel on... more

Good hotel with a central location near Barberini metro station (good connections to Termini etc.). The area (financial district) where the hotel is situated is perhaps not the most exciting in Rome but it's quiet (relatively speaking) and safe. The room was basic but clean and the staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast was served on a roof terrace which... more

Small hotel on quiet side street near busier Piazza Barberini and 15 min walk to Fontana di Trevi. Restaurants and shops are nearby, but look for Internet in other neighorhoods.. Room was typical European size (small for american standards), but it was all we needed. Our room had a separate room for the toilet and bidet, instead of in the... more

The location of this hotel was perfect. It was within easy walking distance of the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Spanish Steps and with the metro being at the bottom of the road it was a short underground ride to the Vatican and the Colloseum. The reception staff were very helpful and always pleasant. The rooms were clean and plenty big... more
