Booked as secret hotel; Last Minute.com. Paid half advertised cost - around £250.00 for 4 nights. Clean & Comfortable Hotel. Helpful & Attentive Staff. Healthy Options lacking at breakfast. Fruit non existent. Ask for yoghurt; they produce it if requested; perhaps they lock it in hotel safe! Fruit juice was made from powdery sugar; we took our own water to... more

I booked this hotel about 6 months ago via the secret deals on lastminute.com and the first thing I did was come here and check the reviews. At that time they were all really negative and I was really concerned that I'd just wasted a lot of money. Arriving at Termini Station in Rome should have been exciting but I... more

Would rate hotel 3 or 2 star- nice staff, small room, fairly updated/old bld. If you are planning on walking to all of the top sites of Rome this hotel is too far. Overall, it was a reasonable stay for the price; however, beds were not comfortable at all, bathroom shower leaked onto the floor and the water pressure was... more

I booked via the secret hotels deal on Last Minute and when I discovered which hotel it was and read some of the reviews on here I felt a little apprehensive. However, it was pretty good. Its well located 10 mins walk from the station and 15 mins from colloseuim. Rooms are air conditioned and staff are pleasant and attentive.... more

After booking this trip as a suprise birthday present I read a few reviews that were not pleasant about this hotel. I was a little worried, especially as it was a surprise. However I could not fault anything. The service was exellent, the room was spacious and very clean. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I have slept... more

What a great choice. I travelled with a friend and both of our rooms were lovely. The hotel was very clean which had been one of our main worries. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and the breakfast room gave good views of the surrounding area. The hotel is a 3 min walk from Termini... more

This definitely isn't a 4-star hotel. I would bump it down to a 3-star, or even a 2-star if you factor in the front desk staff. I have no serious complaints, the hotel room was clean and the location was easy since it was right next to the subway at Termini. The one thing that prompted me to write a... more

This Hotel Champagne Palace is nothing more but a bed and breakfast. The bed in a standard double room was acceptable, it felt however, a big bed was squeezed into a single room. The bathroom was plainly a disgrace ( We stayed in room 208), the shower was for me to small to fit properly in, a large person would... more

Just returned from a trip to Rome and a 2 night stay at the Champagne Palce. I was dreading going to the hotel after reading reviews on the web-site, but to be honest when we got there we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is not a 4 star by british standards, but the room and bed was clean, the pillow... more
