The location cannot be beat. Next to the Spanish Steps and next to the Metro entrance. The inside is beautiful and clean. The rooms are large and accomodating. Cleaning staff everyday were excellent. All the staff, Alex, Daniel, Elizabetta, etc., were very accomodating for restaurant reservations, suggestions, directions, taxis to airport, etc. The staff is available until 10:00 pm and... more

It is impossible to improve upon the position of the Internazionale Domus - this hotel is what staying in Rome is all about. At the heart of the Centro Historico with the beauty of Rome literally on the doorstep. The building itself is beautiful and exudes elegance and grace. It's possible to think of oneself as a 19th. century traveller... more

We stayed here twice in June-for one night before leaving on a cruise and four nights upon our return. Both of our rooms were exceptional but the Donatello overlooking the steps shouldn't be missed. All of the staff, but especially Alex, were great. Excellent restaurant suggestions, nightlife tips, and arrangements for taxis and guides. I've never written a review before... more

My wife and I stayed here in early November. We were initially booked in the Relais Pierret, the Domus' sister hotel one floor down. Upon our arrival we were shown a slightly larger room in the Internazionale Domus (the Donattelo) with a window that opened up onto the Spanish Steps at the same price! This is not an entirely traditional... more

We arrived late in the evening, but were welcomed warmly and given excellent directions to a nearby restaurant for dinner. Our apartment was well appointed, with a convenient little kitchenette and well equipped shower-room. The furnishings were quite luxurious, echoing the history of the building, and the location was exceptional - very convenient for sight-seeing, right in the middle of... more

Chose the property for location and the fact that they could offer a comfortable triple accommodation..loved the little kichenette AND the totally complimentary access to a computer...if you bring your own laptop they will actually supply a connection cord so it may be used in the apt...the location is a great plus and we found ALL the management team, Eric,... more

It is with sadness that I will not be able to recommend this rental as I have done in the past. I booked the Fattori Suite as a returning guest. Upon arrival I excitedly talked about staying there again as I had enjoyed that suite so much. The employee didn't mention anything to me about a change in rooms until... more

Rome is hot and crowded in June! The Hotel Domus was in a perfect location, right next to the Spanish Steps. Even though the steps are bustling morning, noon and night. Inside this quaint, clean hotel, we found a quiet refuge to rest and re-group after a busy day. The staff always asked to help us find great dinner places... more

Our group of three stayed at the Internazionale Domus in Rome for two nights, 1 night at the beginning of our holiday in Italy and 1 night at the end. The hotel is in a great location about half a city block from the Spanish Steps. We had two different "triple" rooms and they were both tastefully furnished and clean.... more

After sampling many hotel rooms and apartments in Rome, finally we have a solution to the overpriced Rome hotel scene. There is a huge disparity in quality between the fashionable five star hotels and the more affordable small hotels. The Internazionale Domus and sister property, Relais Pierret ,located in the same building, deliver a spacious, comfortable and attractive room or... more
