My wife and 8-year old daughter stayed for 3 nights here in late June, 2008. The hotel is in a great location. It's easy to walk or metro from the train station. It is also close to all the major sites, except maybe the Vatican. We walked to everything, even Borghese. It is small enough. The front staff was nice... more

Ottocento is a boutique hotel in the centre of Rome, right beside the Barberini metro and about 10 minutes from the Piazza Spagna (Spanish Steps). A great location and one that is hard to beat at this price. It has been recently renovated and the rooms, though small, are quite nice. The bathroom was of high quality, with a great... more

This was our third stay at Albergo Ottocento and it exceeded our expectations again. This hotel is conveniently located close to the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Hotel is clean and comfortable. The most valuable asset of this hotel is clearly its staff. The Front Desk staff is the best we have ever encountered. Friendly, efficient, helpful any adjective you... more

We found this hotel via Trip advisor, and as we were very pleased with the result, we're contributing back to the site. This is a smallish hotel, very clean, very nice for a 4 star hotel, with a pleasing breakfast (could have a slightly larger spread, but I understand breakfasts on the continent are like that). We especially liked how... more

We stayed here for our wedding anniversary so we got given one of the bigger rooms which was nice. It is in a good location, not too busy but near Spanish Steps & Trevi, and the rooms are clean and the price was reasonably. more

This is a nice little hotel in the center of the city, very convenient to all public transportation and near the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. We stayed there for five days in Feb.-March 08 and had no problems. The desk staff was very helpful and spoke good English. The breakfast (included) was good and included scrambled eggs each day.... more

The hotel was nice and comforatable. The restaurant food was very good but the atmosphere couldve been better (ie music playing and more cosey). Overall it was a very nice stay. Very clean and comfortable. However we were kept awake all night the first night as we could hear running water (in room 204). I eventually went to see the... more

This is a fabulous, quaint hotel in a big city. The location is really nice, with shopping and many cafes nearby. We walked to all of Rome's best sights from here, without taking the train, which is not recommended. The rooms were small to US standards, but decent to European standards. The room had good storage for our large suitcases... more

When we arrived, in the morning, the front desk was most helpful in storing our bags and giving us perfect directions to the Spanish Steps (just a few blocks away) and suggestions for lunch. Upon our return, our room was ready. French windows opened onto the street below. A huge, comfortable bed and a very modern, marble bath with jacuzzi... more
