We stayed 5 nites at Antiqua Roma and found it to be very good and considering Rome's lodging prices, great value for your money. It was very clean, nice size room, bathroom although spotlessly clean was a little tight (we had our private bath in the shared hall). The room had a sink in it which was a nice touch... more

Incredible place to stay for those who don't need vast luxuries in the room, but do need a place to lay their head in pleasant, safe and intimate surroundings. The room was easily big enough for the two of us, and the location was such that the far extremity of the tourist attractions (the Colesseum) was only 40 minutes away... more

This was our first hotel on a three week trip through Italy and it was our first experience in a European hotel, and we were quite surprised. In contrast to the reviews of other hotels, we found the rooms in this hotel to be quite large and comfortable. The rooms are well maintained and very clean. We were very impressed... more

Here's a rundown of our experience with AntiquaRoma: ROOM: Definitely above average, in terms of decor. Tastefully and conveniently furnished (unusually so), spacious and clean. Complimentary white wine and candies on the coffee table. High-ceilinged and well-ventilated. Reasonably powerful rotating fan (but no AC). TV and internal bathroom. Nice old building with character. All of these are good things. A... more

We found this gem on trip advisor. Fantasitc location, as it is 10 mins to Spanish Steps, 15 Mins to Vatican. Its in a safe area, so you acn walk around at night. Rooms are fantastic, we had the first 2 rooms on the left as you walk in. Our rooms had Ensuites in the room, and mine had a... more

The Antiqua Roma is a small guesthouse in an incredible location, walking distance from just about everything (just over one of the bridges over the Tiber). It is extremely comfortable and clean, and we found the staff friendly and helpful. Our room was the only one here that had a separate bathroom (i.e. need to walk across the hall to... more

Lovely Bed & Breakfast, great value for money especially if you consider how overpriced hotels in Rome are during high season months. Clean and spacy rooms with private bathroom and clean towels/bed sheets. We didn't opt for breakfast but we didn't regret it as there are lovely cafe's just around the corner where you can enjoy your Italian cappuccino in... more

This B&B is perfectly located to explore Rome. The room was spacious, clean and we had a private bathroom. The owner Enrico was friendly and helpful. He provided us with a map, bus routes and tourist information upon arrival. There was an internet laptop we could use and there is free WIFI if you bring your own laptop. more

We stayed at Antiqua Roma for five nights and had an excellent time. We were given great directions and when we arrived the owner Enrico was waiting to meet us. Our room was nicely decorated, very comfortable and lovely and clean. The B&B is perfectly positioned to explore all the main sites of Rome and I would thoroughly recommend it... more

We were given excellent directions to this beautifully decorated and clean guest house. The manager was extremely helpful and flexible. In a lovely area close to everything, perfect for people who like to explore a city by walking around, but also right on a bus line which runs right throught the city. The room was fresh and clean with a... more
