I visited Rome for a long weekend as a birthday treat from my boyfriend. First impressions were WOW...the hotel decorated to a very high standard, the staff were very friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Only downside was the breakfast which wasn't all that. It was edible, but wasn't anything particularly exciting. In addition, the prices for drinks... more

Has a great decor, nice rooms, good location. The staff is regular. Good rooms with quality amenities. The worst thing, that is not allowed in a supposed luxury hotel is the breakfast. The two days were, at the least, surreal. No plates, no bread, or dry (very dry) croissants. If you managed to get bread, you don't have juice. If... more

Aleph Boscolo Hotel is a beautiful hotel (it seems to be a museum) in a quiet street in the center of Rome. It’s 10-13 min. walk to piazza di Spagna. The same time to Fontana di Trevi.. Also it’s 100 m to Metro Station ( Barberini) in the case of visit something by train. As you can see from travelers... more

The Aleph is certainly not a Luxury Class hotel. We booked this hotel because of the overall reputation of the Boscolo chain, because we wanted somewhere a bit different to celebrate a birthday trip to visit our daughter and her partner who live in Milan and who were joining us on our trip to Rome and because we wanted somewhere... more

I chose to book a room here based on photos and a few reviews I'd read. It was expensive, but it looked like it would warrant the extra cost. It appeared safe, in a good part of town, conveniently located and all of the stuff you look for as a traveler in a large city. Here's the deal: The lobby... more

We've stayed at the Aleph twice now and love it. The decor is incredible - dark lobby guarded by two sets of red Samurai armor, behind which is the bar (looks like a big ice cube). The staff is (mostly) accommodating, the restaurant is great, the location is great, the street is quiet. I wish I had a photo of... more

After reviewing all the hotel options in the area, we chose this hotel because it was well located and seemed hip and cool. After checking in we realized the hip and cool wasn't always comfortable, the front desk was unless, the price did not reflect in the room size (really small rooms unless you book a suite), broken fixtures in... more

Fab hotel. Excellent location. Couldnt find the street intitially on any map but it was just off Piazzi Barberini. Mini bar, restaurant and main bars should be avoided at all costs due to the ridiculous prices. We had a choice of buying 3 bottles of Peroni in the local Spar for €2.98 or paying €12 for one bottle in the... more

Stayed 3 nights here with my family. This is a boutique hotel of recent design, so offered all the comforts of a 4-5* hotel, without the chandeliers and uniformed flunkeys waiting for tips. On the contrary, the staff were attentive, welcoming and happy to go the extra mile (e.g. confirming flights and printing boarding passes). Decor is unusual, based on... more
