This hotel was way more than I expected. I had actually booked it before I knew it had been renovated...and let me tell you is has been renovated. The hotel itself, isn't very big. The lobby, bar and lounge area all reside together in the first floor. And I never really took advantage of either the bar or lounge. But... more

Very nice hotel, still in the midst of renovations but this did not cause any problems. Very friendly and helpful staff, good location (close to subway), fabulous breakfast. Modern rooms with balcony and mini bar (which we used for items bought at grocery store which was close by). Many places to eat nearby. Very quiet hotel and internet available for... more

Just back from 4 nights at hotel Fiume. Hotel has just been renovated, they were just adding some finishing touches as we arrived. Location- nice quiet street, didnt find it particularly noisey, about 15min walk to spanish steps, and pantheon. We used metro once to get back from Vatican city. Hotel- brilliant breakfast, nice choice of breads, cold meats, fresh... more

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The place is undergoing refurbishment - our room was lush! - in fact I think we may have been the first to use it. There was a little noise from around 8am due to the works being carried out but we were up for breakfast by then anyway - just don't expect to... more

We stayed at this 3 star hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is east of Villa Borghese area above the Corse De Italia. It is a bit off the center of town, but close enough to walk to the major train and bus terminal. This location made for a quiet location, yet close enough to many tratorias and small bistros.... more

We arrived to the hotel about 21.30 and we were given a room that was still under renovation (I was aware that there was renovation going on when I booked). There was dust almost everywhere, it smelled like they had just clued the wallpapers on the walls. We were very tired, so we went to bed and tried to ignore... more

I think many people do not give this hotel enough credit! After reading multiple reviews, my boyfriend and I weren't sure what to expect! We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is only a 3 star hotel and it isn't the fanciest thing in the world, but our room was more than adequate! The bathroom was EXCELLENT... more

Excellent service for what the hotel advertised and price. Really good location to get to any of the most interesting places in Rome. Public transport such as buses and tube are also very close. Rooms were clean and breakfast were a feast everyday, something you need when visiting such an amazing town as it is Rome. more

My husband and I stayed at the Fiume hotel over the August bank holiday weekend. The service at the front desk was excellent from phoning for a taxi for us, to arranging a packed breakfast one morning so that we could go on an early morning trip, to advising on local transport, to faxing forms on request, nothing was too... more

We have just returned from two centre break with Archers Direct in which Hotel Fiume was our Rome base. Although not centrally located( this meant it was quiet) it is however very well connected. The rooms were clean and spacious and air conditioned. The breakfast was to be recommended- plentiful with lots of variety. The yoghurt machine was so cute. There... more
