Stayed here last year - I did not book it so did not check reviews on this site like I normally do. I agree with some of the reviews I have just read. Hotel is in a great location but thats about it. Staff were not friendly at all and it always seemed to be a hassle for them anytime... more

You can take bus 64 from the terminal or walk to the hotel. You can either buy a single ride ticket for one euro or a one day bus and metro ticket for four euros at certainTabacchi. (You can ask people where is the Tabacchi) The elevator made loud thumping sounds when it was moving. We checked into room 303.... more

Just returned from staying at this hotel (May 29-31, 2007) and felt the need to post this review. First, we did not let this hotel experience ruin our wonderful time in Rome. However, we would not recommend this hotel to anyone! The front desk employees (except for Michaela) were rude, unwelcoming, always on the computer, etc. We were reprimanded upon... more

Room was very, very small. Unable to unpack suitcase as there was noplace to put all our clothes. Reception was very unfriendly and didn't understand English very well and made no effort to answer our questions. Had to sit on edge of bed to watch TV and then CNN was the only English channel and did not have good reception.... more

Due to a late booking, rooms in Rome were difficult to obtain. Now I know why this hotel was available. It is described as having an elevator, but one must walk up stairs to get to it. It is described as having air conditioning, but this is available at only certain hours of the day. Even though the hours of... more

We stayed at the Hotel Paris in October 2005. We arrived late and, despite our emailing in advance to say we had a late flight, they had a problem with room allocation and we found ourselves in separate, single rooms, for our first night in the Eternal City. The rooms were so small that you could lie in bed and... more

Stayed here one night only and we were glad it was only one night. Very basic room and basic breakfast with horrible coffee. We had stayed for 4 nights before at the Rezidence Cellini around the corner, which was only €20 more a night and incomparably better. The Hotel Paris is perhaps better than sleeping on the street. more

We were walked here by the Notti a Roma B&B across the street and stayed for E90. The room was the tiniest we had throughout Italy--literally had to walk sideways between bed and wall. Bath was small, but both rooms were clean. They had not turned on the A/C yet so we had to keep the windows closed to keep... more

This hotel needs renovation. There was mold and peeling wallpaper in both rooms we tried and bathrooms needed a good scrubbing around the edges. The windows were very dirty. One room had a dip in the floor where there was a hole in the subflooring under the carpet. The breakfast was poor. The staff was good. For only a little... more
