Stayed at this hotel with a group of students in June. The hotel seems to cater to travelling groups...there were several other tours there at the time. The location is somewhat away from the major tourists areas. The hotel gives you a nice map of the downtown Rome area. The beds are actually worn mattresses on cots. The room size... more

I spent two nights at the Pacific Hotel in Rome while traveling with a group of students. Overall, the hotel is acceptable, but it is showing its age. The rooms were small, but the bathrooms were relatively large (almost as big as the sleeping area). There were modern, enclosed, stand-up showers (a rarity in Europe), with clean fixtures.
