Hotel Alessandrino was a great value for the location. We had family room, with a king bed, twin and couch bed for 2 adults, two kids 16 & 11. The room and its furnishings were a little worn, but the house keeping made beds, picked up and refreshed the bathroom everyday of our 4 night stay. Location was very near... more

having checked in at the hotel after taking an age to find it - the taxi driver had no idea, we walked down the hill to find a restaurant. On our return around 9.30 pm, we found the reception unattended but there was a man in what looked like a hotel uniform standing by the lift. We got in the... more

Room was nice and big, but noisy. The staff was not helpful or polite. Very hard to locate. Would not stay there again. more

I normally try to book hotel with a budget near 150€ and four stars. And my review is centred with the PRICE vs QUALITY of service. Web of reservation: BOOKING.com Stay: 1 working day My Check In: 22:30 My Check out: 8:30 Staff: 1-10 = 5 > friendy staff, but don`t all staff speak english Services: 1-10 = 6 |... more

We stayed in an apartment round the corner from the hotel which was pleasant but basic. Advertised as a self catering apartment, there was a fridge freezer in the second bedroom but no utensils or area in which to prepare food. The directions from Termini Station were awful! They say to get a train then a metro, then walk to... more

As I had to stay one night in Rome on a trip from New York to lake Como (the great discount on Alitalia was only valid to Rome, not to Milan), I asked a friend of mine to book an hotel room in the Eternal City, which he did at the last minute. Coming from FCO airport, I followed easily... more

The hotel is beautiful, UNFORTUNATELY the "apartment annex " makes most American Jails seem palatial and comfortable. This is not even equivalent to a one star Korean hotel and should not be allowed to be rented other than as a hostel. This is by far the friendliest and most helpful staff working for a "slum lord" owner....hotel.com amd trip advisor... more

This hotel is very clean and the room we stayed in was very quiet (5th floor) room to the of the elevator. It had a HUGE private balcony that was beautiful. The only thing is the directions to find it are AWFUL. Its up a hill that you need to climb, there are no restaurants in the vicinity. The front... more

This hotel was our last hotel out of four in Italy over a two week period. We'll get right to the point - issue first: 1) Directions to and accessibility of the hotel: This is the only time we were lost during our whole trip and it was a costly situation as no matter from where you approach the hotel... more
