An unhesitating recommendation for this small and excellently managed hotel close to the Termini Station. Especial thanks to Marianna, her mother and Antonio who run the place with flair, will give guidance on good places to eat, and will book tours around Rome. Its position near ritzy shops and the ancient sights of Rome is a strong attraction, although you... more

We had the most wonderful time in Rome and a lot of it was because of the lovely staff at Hotel Giuliana. We were with our little one (16months) and nothing was too much trouble for them. It really made our trip special. more

I appreciated how nice they were and how willing they were to help me. I was able to check in early (they cleaned the room right after I arrived at 10:15 am, and gave me space to use to rearrange my bags while I waited), the breakfast was healthy and fairly substantial, and they told me where a great local... more

We spent two days at the Hotel Giuliana in May 2009 as we had gone to Rome to meet a cruise. The staff is friendly, helpful and speaks English well. The room was clean and things worked well including the air conditioning. Since it was hot this was quite welcome. The drawbacks were that our room was rather small. There... more

As first time visitors to Rome, we were so pleased with Hotel Giuliana. It is centrally located and our room was very clean. We appreciated the air conditioning and the insular windows that kept out the street noise. This is a very secure hotel that is staffed 24/7. Most of all, we appreciated the very friendly management and staff who... more

I have stayed at this hotel more than once and would highly recommend it if staying in Rome. It is in a great location close to the termini and within walking distance of attractions and restaurants. As in previous reviews, the best asset the hotel has are the staff. They are very friendly and will do everything they can to... more

We can't say enough how friendly and helpful the staff were! They recommended 2 different restaurants for dinner, and both were excellent! The hotel is within walking distance to all the attractions we wanted to see - except for the Vatican which was only a short train ride away. We would definitely return to this hotel! more

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Rome for 5 days. I stayed at the Hotel Giuliana and just loved it. It is a small, family owned and very friendly hotel in a good location. It is near Santa Maria Maggiore, the Termini and the Repubbilca Metro stop and the owners are wonderful, warm helpful and caring people. I was... more

This was our first vacation to Rome and we were going on a recommendation of a friend for a hotel. The Hotel Giuliana and its staff were a perfect fit for this holiday. The room was very clean!! It was average sized but we spent all our time visiting the amazing Colliseum, Vatican, Trevi fountain etc. All of these were... more

The hotel is located near the Termini station. That's all it has going for it. There's no lobby, it's the second story of a building that appears to be a mixture of apartments and offices. My room was large but fairly dark. Big bathroom but odd shower. My friends stayed at a place a couple blocks away, paid a little... more
