Courteous, friendly staff--we felt very comfortable even with my limited Italian. I had a problem with my hairdryer & adapter that blew the fuses in our room. I really enjoyed staying at Hotel Fori Imperiali! It was very convenient to the Colosseum and Roman Forums. The location was great, although it is a little difficult to find. The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is down a little alley, but it is one block from the Colosseum and the Metro. You cannot get around Rome as a tourist without the Metro - the busses are rubbish and the taxis are ripoff merchants - the taxi from the train to the hotel (2 km) tried to charge... more
