My family and I (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed here in early June 08 for about 4 days for about 270 euro per night. We had one quad room which was a little cramped for the 4 of us, but was completely adequate, clean, with hot water for the shower. Hotel is well maintained and has a nice little roof... more

I stayed in this hotel the last week of May 2008: single room 130 euros per night. My room had no view and was just a bed, a chair and a bathroom. Small tv and closet. But it was clean and totally quiet, and if you love ancient Rome you can't beat the location. It's across the street from the... more

We chose this hotel due to location to most/all major Rome sites. It is 10-min if that from the Colosseo Metro stop and 2 stops from the Roma Termini train station. This means you are centrally located to all major sites (excluding Vatican however use the Metro if you dont want to walk 30-45min to get there) Some luxury tourists... more

This is a terrific, reasonably-priced place to stay. I would have given it five stars but the one flaw was that the beds were hard. This was solved by requesting more pillows, which were provided immediately. The hotel is clean, quiet, very-well maintained and very close to a lot of the things you want to see as a tourist in... more

We stayed here for 3 nights that were terrible! I must first say the benefit was the location, the roof top view was incredible at night (when they would actually let you up there), and Pietro who served breakfast and drinks. Pietro was very kind and so helpful to all of us. To start off, we were told that there... more

I really loved this hotel. The room was small but very clean and nice. The staff was very friendly, breakfast was well above average Italian "continental breakfast" and the roof terrace was a bonus item. The location was excellent. Colosseum and Forum Romanum were just few steps away and other sites either within walk distance or easily accessible by metro.... more

We stayed our first night in Rome at the Grand Palazzo Carpegna near the Vatican City. Although, the Grand was a much nicer hotel, I liked Fori Imperiali better because it is central to everything. You basically walk out of the hotel front door and see the Colosseum, Forum, and Palazzo Venezia. Our room was a bit small, but surprisingly... more

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel the first leg of our tour of Italy. It is a no-frills hotel which i would rate as lower 3 star. The receptionist was helpful and pleasant. The room was small but had good airconditioning which was a delight to have. The bathroom was tired, especially the shower which needed renovationg. The continental... more

My husband son and I stayed here for 4 nights at the end of a cruise. I had read up on the reviews before we went. I was disappointed in the immediate environs of the hotel, in back streets which are covered in graffiti. The hotel itself was not as smart as the photos online suggest either. My first impressions... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night in June. It was a little hard to find at first, as we walked from the train station, but we did eventually find the place. FYI, it is off of Via Cavour, a major street in this part of town; use it as a point of reference. This was... more
