We loved staying in #206 with a private balcony & we were there for 10 days. Tthe waiter for the moning breakfast was the most delightful, friendly & helpful man. He helped us learn some Italian words & was so interesting to talk to! The hotel was actaully cleaner then most of Rome which has a lot of graffiti. We... more

Courteous, friendly staff--we felt very comfortable even with my limited Italian. I had a problem with my hairdryer & adapter that blew the fuses in our room. No problem; they immediately moved us to another room. The property was located very conveniently to the sites of ancient Rome. I would definitely stay there again. more

I really enjoyed staying at Hotel Fori Imperiali! It was very convenient to the Colosseum and Roman Forums. The location was great, although it is a little difficult to find. The room was small, but adequate and clean. The staff was very helpful and delightful to be around. The breakfast is great! I would definitely stay here again. more

Staff was friendly. Stayed in a single room on the third floor. Small room but comfortable. Cold air conditioning, user controlled. However, the bathroom was small. The shower was fine but the toilet and bidet are awkwardly placed. Parent's double room on the same floor had a shower and a bath tub with a small balcony. Breakfast was fantastic. Grocery... more

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is down a little alley, but it is one block from the Colosseum and the Metro. You cannot get around Rome as a tourist without the Metro - the busses are rubbish and the taxis are ripoff merchants - the taxi from the train to the hotel (2 km) tried to charge... more

My family and I (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed here in early June 08 for about 4 days for about 270 euro per night. We had one quad room which was a little cramped for the 4 of us, but was completely adequate, clean, with hot water for the shower. Hotel is well maintained and has a nice little roof... more

I stayed in this hotel the last week of May 2008: single room 130 euros per night. My room had no view and was just a bed, a chair and a bathroom. Small tv and closet. But it was clean and totally quiet, and if you love ancient Rome you can't beat the location. It's across the street from the... more

We chose this hotel due to location to most/all major Rome sites. It is 10-min if that from the Colosseo Metro stop and 2 stops from the Roma Termini train station. This means you are centrally located to all major sites (excluding Vatican however use the Metro if you dont want to walk 30-45min to get there) Some luxury tourists... more

This is a terrific, reasonably-priced place to stay. I would have given it five stars but the one flaw was that the beds were hard. This was solved by requesting more pillows, which were provided immediately. The hotel is clean, quiet, very-well maintained and very close to a lot of the things you want to see as a tourist in... more

We stayed here for 3 nights that were terrible! I must first say the benefit was the location, the roof top view was incredible at night (when they would actually let you up there), and Pietro who served breakfast and drinks. Pietro was very kind and so helpful to all of us. To start off, we were told that there... more
