Great hotel in the best location! Walking distance to many attractions. Modern and relaxing rooms. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! more

We loved the design. I would call it "high end modern." The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was smaller than what I generally expect to find in Texas, but to me it was a nice reminder that I was overseas. The space was well-planned and functional. The fixtures and color had such a sleek feel to them, I was like... more

The Hotel Art is on one of the most charming streets in all of Rome, cobblestone surrounded by art galleries and cafes. It is tucked away in a neat enclave five minutes from the Spanish Steps and great restaurants. As you walk down the cobbled entryway, a little difficult to pull roller luggage on, you enter a uber-modern lobby with... more

I always like to stay in modern design hotels and this one was a good choice! Location is ideal just 2 min away from the Spanish steps. Hotel is really well furnished with modern lobby and modern rooms. The only downside is that our room was on the small side.. maybe rather small. But very good layout i must admit.... more

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights, my first trip to Rome (although she had lived in the city before). Hotel Art is in a great location - on the Via Margutta, a quiet back street that contains a few shops and some nice restaurants, but very close to the Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, Villa Borghese, etc.... more

We (2 adults and teenage daughter) stayed on the orange floor for 5 nights. Excellent central location- 2 mins walk to sights, restaurants, shops, but really quiet in our room. Breakfast was really excellent with a wide variety of cakes, cereals, fruit, yoghurts, eggs, cold meats/salami, juices etc. Staff at desk not gushing, but very helpful when approached :they arranged... more

My family (husband and 3 children) and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in August 2008. The location is great, very central, and on a quiet back street. We were suprised that the hotel had been listed as one of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World (we have stayed in others) since we did not rate the... more

Stayed at the Art hotel for a weekend stay, with my wife and another couple. I was pleasantly surprised by the great location (only few steps from the Spanish Steps, in a quiet side road). The hotel is generally clean and well maintained. The breakfast, which was included in our Expedia-rate, is much better (more choice) than you would normally... more

This hotel worked out great for our family. We booked a Quad room that had a king and a double bed, each in its own room. The rooms are set up with a sliding door for privacy. The bathroom has a double sink and overall there is more room than a typical Rome hotel, plenty for the four of us.... more

I stayed at the Hotel Art a couple nights in Rome before and after a cruise. Both times I was lucky enough to get a room on the green floor, which is easier on the eyes than the yellow or orange floors (the top floor, the blue floor, doesn't hurt the eyes); however, on both occasions my room was not... more
