We were taking a break during our extended visit in Malta, to visit Rome Having found this hotel and subsequent reviews on the internet, we decided to try it after we were unable to get accommodation at two other similar 4* rated establishments in the nearby vicinity. The only real 4 star rating regarding this establishment must be its location... more

Good clean hotel in a great location, The staff is very helpful with anything. There are many hotels in this area to choose from ,all appear very similar is in appeal. Location is the key , many restaurants and bars to choose from, safe at all times of the day. Overall good spot! more

Having booked this weekend away back in January after extensive research on Trip Advisor we arrived on Friday evening 1st May to say that the hotel was fully booked and we were to be upgraded and moved to Hotel Dei Mellini which was quite some distance away from Ludovisi- anyway I was abit disappointed but Taxi fare was paid and... more

This hotel was perfect for a weekend in Rome. Off the main streets so very quiet. rooms were clean and adequate. within a few minutes walking distance of Galeria Borghese, even if you have no interest in Art go there, its amazing. Also five minutes walk to spanish steps. If I was going to Rome again I would stay here... more

We arrived 2 days prior to Christmas, were greeted by a friendly desk clerk [wish I remembered her name], checked in at 10:00am, said we had a short visit and planned to 'hit the ground running.' The room was clean, comfortable, well appointed and spacious compared to other European hotels I've seen. Safe in room, ample storage, marble bathroom -... more

I had a problem with the taxi driver & asked the desk clerk to mediate. After driver left, clerk said I really owed driver more money but hotels & taxis are having a dispute so clerk wouldn't help driver! The room was modest size. The bathroom floor was never washed for 3 days, nor was the bath surround wiped down.... more

I started a month long vacation in Rome with my wife. This hotel was nice. The room and bathroom were clean but relatively small. The neighborhood was great and safe but be careful of the strong tourist element that exists on via venetto. Hotel Ludovisi's proximity to many landmarks is another plus. The staff was helpful and nice. Not the... more

We have relocated to Rome, and whilst awaiting our new home to be ready, we stayed at this hotel, my family consisted of my self, my wife and three children ranging from 7 - 14, the staff were great, the porter carried or 8 cases to the rooms, the room are not huge as is the room rate, and we... more

Stayed at the Ludovisi with a Globus tour group. We checked in a day early. The staff was extremely helpful in particular Alesandro. He gave directions to the subway station, and explained how to get around. It was lunch time and he recommended a great local restaurant. The next day it was raining and the staff suggested we got to... more
