We stayed here for the last night of our Italian trip (3 weeks) we wanted something near the center sights (Trevi, Pantheon) as we stayed near the Colisseum for the beginning of the trip (Hotel Lancelot - great hotel). The hotel is clean and adequate. The desk staff is helpful and the internet is free. They will let you print... more

This hotel was recommended to us, and we were so glad we stayed here. We were coming from a cruise ship and took the train into Rome. The hotel is very close to the Roma Termini (train station). The directions they gave us were perfect. They helped us with our luggage to our room (up a flight of marble stairs).... more

Stayed here for three nights. Alberto at the front desk was great and very helpful. Beds were really uncomfortable. Had a triple and all three beds were like cots. As many have stated, you have to avoid certain rooms by the breakfast area. If they would close the doors to the breakfast room it wouldn't have been so bad, but... more

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel both pre and post cruise. We chose it based on Rick Steves Guide Book as well as comments on this site. The accommodation was more than satisfactory and reasonably priced. The rooms, including the bathrooms, were very efficient, clean and well maintained. The staff was very professional, courteous, friendly and... more

I had the best experience while staying in Rome, at the Hotel Aberdeen. The registration staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable andprofessional. When I requested a good restaurant in the neighborhood , the hotel staff recommended an amazing restaurant which had fantastic food. They were able to problem solve matters for me with ease. Rooms are clean, comfortable and cozy. Breakfast... more

We chose this hotel for the night before our return to the United States, based on Rick Steves's recommendation and its proximity to the Rome Termini train station. We found Steves' favorable thumbnail review to be accurate in all respects. A couple of "above and beyond" services marked our experience. First, we were given ample boxed breakfasts "to go" for... more

I stayed at the Hotel Aberdeen in April 2008 and it was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. Before I even arrived, the hotel was more helpful then any of the other hotels I was thinking about staying. They provided pictures and measurements of the room, since I was considering staying in a single room. My... more

We stayed at the Aberdeen for five nights, went on to Venice, Florence, and then returned for an additional night before heading home to the States. The staff at the Aberdeen could not have done more to make us feel at home. After leaving the hotel for the other cities, returning there was indeed a rewarding experience. I would highly... more
