Our family of 4 stayed at Hotel Aberdeen, June 2009. The people at the reception desk were the most friendly of the 4 hotels we stayed during our Italy vacation. They were excellent with English, friendly and provided good service. Fresh towels daily, free internet service and a good continental breakfast. Also we got a great price. I highly recommend... more

My family of 4, including two grown children ages 20 and 18, spent many days at Hotel Aberdeen in June, 2009. The location is very convenient to the train station, sites, and subway to get to other sites. We had two adjoining rooms and were pleased with the size, the air conditioning, and the cleanliness. The service is first rate.... more

Rick Steeves recommends this hotel for the location and price, so I stayed one night there recently while in Rome. I was impressed with the staff and the room was neat and clean. This hotel is really quiet for Rome! more

We stayed at the Hotel Aberdeen for 4 nights on the recommendation of Rick Steves. We wanted a quiet, friendly hotel located close to the train station. We were not disappointed. Our room was quiet and clean, the bed was good, the breakfasts were tasty and substantial. However, the best part of Hotel Aberdeen was the staff. Not only did... more

What a nice surprise to find a hotel that provides a computer for free in a lobby area. This is such a convenience on a trip. The staff here is helpful and the atmosphere of the hotel friendly in part because of the type of people who stay here. There are both a small refrigerator and a safe in the... more

We stayed here for 1 night after a Mediterranean cruise. This place is wonderful. We thought the location was great. Easily walkable from Termini train station and it is not in the dodgy part of the Termini neighbourhood. In fact, the Ministry of Defence is across the street (with uniformed/armed police and it is a few quick steps from Via... more

I stayed at Aberdeen Hotel for 5 nights in June, 2009. The hotel is conveniently located to the public transportation: metro, bus, train station, shopping and restaurants; easy to find. My room was very nice; small, but there was enough space for one, and everything I needed. The bathroom seemed to be recently renovated; the air conditioner worked fine; I... more

My daughter and I stayed at the Hotel Aberdeen in Rome. This hotel was recommended by Rick Steves. Hotel Aberdeen is located a few blocks from the train station in a relatively quiet street (as Rome goes). The hotel staff was courteous and friendly and went out of their way to make our experience enjoyable. The room was clean and... more
