a friend and I stayed at this hotel in May 09 and it was great. The front desk clerks during the day spoke english. It is up a large hill, but it was great exercise so I didn't mind too much. We ate at a cute little place at the bottom of the hill kiddy corner from the gas station... more

This small Hotel is a bit out of the way... fortunately! Rome is super busy. After a day of discovering Rome, shopping and walking for hours we were glad to find refuge away from the center. Close to bus tour, 15 min. to center. Had a nice room with terrasse, decent bedding, great shower. Poor breakfast and unreliable internet connection. more

The hotel room for a single was small, but I was very comfortable. The room was a bit cold but the staff was very helpful and provided nice warm wool blankets right away. The breakfast was good--yogurt, cereal, eggs, warm pastries, juices, and coffee made to order. The hotel will arrange for a ride to and from the airport--and the... more

This hotel had such a great location. 5 minutes to the Circus Maximus, 30minutes to the Colosseum and 15 minutes to Terme de Caracalla. Rooms were clean if a little small and dark but the aircon was efficient which was really necessary. Had a lovely view of the courtyard with the scent of jasmine wafting in the window. Breakfast was... more

This is a great little hotel from which to explore the many highlights of Rome. Situated in a quiet residential area but within easy walking distance of the main tourist sites. The room was spacious with a patio area opening on to a pleasant courtyard. Very clean and well maintained with maid service every day. The buffet breakfast was of... more

My wife and I stayed here from April 18th to the 23rd. The hotel is located in a very quiet, residential area next to a school and church. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Two of the staff spoke fluent English to go along with my choppy Italian, the night clerk spoke very little. The room was very nice... more

We stayed at this hotel in March, 2009 and really liked it. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are very comfortable and the service is great. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. It is in a beautiful neighborhood and there are restaurants, grocery stores, etc. a few blocks away at the bottom of the hill. The hotel is... more

My wife and I stayed here on a monday to friday city break. We had booked the hotel on the recomendation of other Tripadvisor reports and we were not disappointed. Our bedroom was on the first floor and was a very generous sized room, very clean and nicely decorated with a small balcony overlooking a courtyard with a magnificent magnolia... more

My 17 year old daughter and I stayed at the Domus Aventina over Thanksgiving 2008 for a quick trip to Rome. We found the hotel to be friendly, clean, and convenient. Rates were good at about $110/night US. We found that the walk to the subway and common bus stops were easy and short - about 5 minutes. The hotel... more

* First time in ROMA, and this hotel was great! Everything as I expected. Smotth check in, clean rooms, great continental breakfast. Great little balcony. No complaints (for a price of CAD$175/night, that's amazing). * The hotel itself is situated in Aventino Hill which is a beautiful walk in itself. After dinner, just walk off the meal around the neighborhood.... more
