I stayed for two nights and found the staff and the hotel really very nice. The bathroom was all in marble and had all the ammenities. Safe and refrigerator in room. Internet was also in the room but was really not very good. There was a supermarket just down the street and I bought water, fruit and popcorn. The hotel... more

This is a gem of a hotel, very close to the Spanish Steps, Via Condotti and some of the best restaurants and wine bars in Rome. This is not your "Plasticised Hilton" this is a real old style hotel, with furnishings and decoration to match. Old style grandeur with real character. This hotel is very run-down. The air-conditioning in our room wasn't working quite well. We needed a fan in the room. It was so hooooottttttt. We spent very uncomfortable two night. If we didn't have children with us, we would have left the hotel right away. We stayed there in late August 2003, the hotel needs a SERIOUS renovation. more
