Stayed here for convenience, but regret that decision. Our room stank of damp, the a/c leaked, but worst of all, the man with glasses at the reception was insufferably rude and aggressive. Steer clear of the poor service and fetid rooms. There is better value for money to be had. more

The hotel is located on a quite side street in the same building of Hotel Giuggiolo, Pensione Lady (Hotel Lady) and Hotel Nautilus. The hotel does have a 3 person lift and a very secure entince to each floor of the hotel. You will recieve 3 keys, 1 to the building itself, 1 to your floor's entrance and the last... more

I booked this hotel, THEN I looked at this website and was very worried. I saw a lot of horrible reviews. Well, I went with an open mind and was very surprised. Maybe there has been a complete renovation, and staff change since some of the reviews, or people were just being picky. The hotel is about a 5 minute... more

This hotel was a nightmare! It was almost impossible to find; wedged into a dilapidated building that had many lousy little hotels. We checked into a hotel that we thought was Residenza Dei Quiriti, only to find out that it was someone's home that rented a few rooms to pensioners (poor old folks). We finally found by accident ( the... more

This is a budget hotel and boy can you tell. The staff were unhelpful and in particular one male member was so arrogant he was lucky only to have got a verbal dressing down. Mould was visible in the three bedrooms my party had on the walls and carpets. We organised a taxi for the return flight to the airport... more

The staff was extremely unhelpful and rude. The room we got was old and shabby and nothing like the pictures management has up on the web. The wall paper was torn and our toilet seat broken. They claimed they didn't know about the seat but I fail to see how that could be if they cleaned the bathroom when they... more

We were there the first week of January and overall it was ok! The hotel is in the first floor of an old but resently restored building. It is on a really quiet street in the west side of Rome - a 5minutes walk to the metro station, 2 minutes to buses and 10 minutes to the Vatican City. The... more

We stayed here for 3 nights in the first week of October 2005. Found the location quite convenient. close to the metro station. That was the only thing we liked about this place. I'll list our problems- -No pressure in the shower. complained to the receptionist but nothing happened. -Tiny shower cubicle where there is no place to keep shower... more

We stayed 8 days at the Residenza dei Quiriti and overall had a good experience. Don't let your first impression fool you. We were a little worried when we pulled up to the front of the hotel. It's in a very plain building in a fairly quiet neighborhood about 10 minutes walk to the Vatican. Our worries went away when... more
