We just returned from a nine day stay at this hotel, and could not have been happier with our choice. Friendly front desk, clean every where, room, lobby, roof terrace. Room cleaned, linens replaced daily, roof terrace an exceptional place to relax at the end of a busy day, quiet, good neighborhood. A+ more

It's my second time in this hotel and I can really recommend it. I think it's more a hotel for elder people - at least you don't really see a lot of young people. I've been there for business trips. They have wireless (ask for it), a TV in every room and if you're alone and just for a couple... more

Lovely little hotel tucked away right near the Vatican. Friendly staff. Decent-sized rooms. Clean and nice. more

Hotel Arcangelo is located close to Vatican City but out of the touristy areas. The room was of moderate size and served our needs well. The bathroom was large and had a good shower and plenty of hot water. The air conditioning worked efficiently and was quiet but we did not really need it since the ambient temperature was comfortable.... more

By far our favorite hotel during our 12 day vacation in Italy. The staff went above and beyond, the room was much more spacious then the one we had at the Ara Pacis. The location was great. We were even pleased by the size of the bathroom. We will definitely stay here again!! more

I booked a short stay at this hotel only too aware of the mixed reviews on this site. However , I got a great price with BA and the fact that it had a nice-looking roof terrace. On arrival I was shown into a wardrobe like space that turned out to be a bedroom ! I could touch each wall... more

The Hotel was great, it was all you could want for sightseeing. You would not want to spend hours in the hotel but great for if you wanted somewhere comfy. That said, the beds were a bit hard, but after a night you became accustomed. Another member of our party, in another room, had trouble with noisy aircon (room 25)... more

After reading some of the reviews, I was quite apprehensive about this hotel. What an incredible surprise. Our room was beautiful, not huge, but this is Europe, not North America. Our room was beautifully decorated with brocade walls. The hotel itself was very clean, our room was very clean, the bathroom was very clean, we had a shower door! One... more

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in (no exaggeration). Although the location was fair, the room was depressing and smaller than one you would find on a cruise ship. It felt like we were staying in a badly decorated closet. The bathroom was dirty and the shower was inoperable. The front desk staff were very rude, in... more

After reading the reviews I was scared to death about my Priceline booking at Arcangelo. Breakfast- No ants on the food. It was a great breakfast. Good meats and cheeses. The coffee was very European (dark, bitter, strong). No complaints. Rooms- Comfortable beds. The shower is too small with no shower curtain. That was a problem. The rooms were decorated... more
