We stayed at the Hotel Piranesi for 3 nights in late June and wish it could have been more! Not only is Rome a spectacular destination but this hotel was a joy to "come home to" every night. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming, the doorman recognized us walking up the street and greeted us back in,... more

I stayed at the Piranesi last spring along with 3 friends. We could not have been more pleased with the hotel. The location was perfect, the rooms were pleasant and clean, and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. We found ourselves looking forward to the delicious breakfast each morning in the lovely breakfast room, and then at the end of... more

We stayed here for five nights in a superior double. The room was spacious and had a lovely balcony. The location of the hotel is wonderful for sightseeing. It is just a few steps from the Piaza Popolo and about 2 mins. from the Spanish Steps. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, suggesting great restaraunts and making reservations for... more

Thoroughly enjoyable stay in a lovely, intimate, hotel. Room had a terrific balcony with super views, was very well appointed. Staff were v friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Great restaurant recommendations. Location is top class. Breakfast was good (and complimentary). Tip - the earlier you are up the better it is, as your fellow guests take all of the better offerings........ more

My husband and I just returned from a 2 week tour of Italy. During the middle of our stay we decided to return to Rome the night before our flight instead of the day of. We had started our trip out with 2 nights at the Sofitel, but were not overly pleased with the accommodations and decided to try the... more

The single rooms are small and well laid out. The wall paper was worn and had a few obvious repairs making the room somewhat shabby. The bathrooms are up to date and very well appointed. My single room had a pretty walk out deck so be sure to request it as my friends room did not have this feature. My... more

My family (my wife, our daughter, and my parents) had a remarkable stay at the Piranesi. We live in Italy part of the year and are familiar with Rome and its hotels. This was our first visit to the Piranesi and we will return. The hotel itself has a smart, elegant feel without ovetones of any aloofness or pretension. The... more

Very centrally located on Via del Babuino between Piazza del Popolo & the Spanish Steps, opposite the De Russie Hotel Rated 4 stars, but should be a maximum of 3 stars, principally because of its location. Additionally, we were NOT told that one cannot drive right up to the front door … traffic is restricted and only those who are... more

Lovely roof-top garden helps somewhat compensate for the small rooms which barely accommodates luggage. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nicely done and offered something for everyone. more

The BEST part of this hotel is that is is newly renovated (new, clean bathrooms, floors and furniture) and it is directly across from the Hotel de Rossie, which is the nicest hotel in Rome... So, when I stay there, I walk across the street for the Rossie amenities (including use of their concierge for my reservations etc)..... The questionable... more
