I found this hotel when looking for a budget accommodation. When we arrived, check-in was quick and smooth. The room was good and clean, and the parquet floor is a nice touch. Beds were comfy and bathroom was good too. Breakfast was ok too with bread, croissants, cereals, coffee etc... Location wise, its perfect as there are a variety of... more

Room was big enough & bathroom was OK, but it was very dirty. Room was badly in need of repair & redecoration. Shutters onto balcony did not open, heating was on all the time and uncontrollable. Lift was completely inadequate for the number of users: the building and lift (but not the reception desk) is shared with Hotel Altavilla which... more

I stayed at Hotel Giada for 3 nights at end of June. The price was reasonable. I booked a single room for 65 or 70 euros and they gave me a double room!! I was definitely pleased with that. I also knew the location, as this was the 3rd time in Rome. It is situated close to the main Termini... more

Unfortunately the photographs of the rooms are nothing like the reality. Our tripple room on the 5th floor was large but very gloomy - there was bare grey plaster board ceiling (unpainted) and the decor and furniture generally looked tired and in need of modernisation. The room, however, was clean and the bedding was white, crisp and clean. Don't expect... more

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The elevator broke (while we were in it), the rooms are smelly, and you run out of hot water through a normal shower. The bathroom had a musty smell, that I cannot attribute to anything in particular. It is not a smell you would want to find out on your own.... more

this hotel was the worst place i have ever stayed the room was small dark and smelled funny. The bathroom was appalling i felt dirtier after a shower as the water stank and made me feel sick just before the hot water ran out, and it was full of insects. Mouldy walls and cracked radiators added to the over all... more

The Hotel Giada is near Rome Termini and that should of rung alarm bells but thought the location would be handy however my travel agent said it was 3 star and sufficent for 3 nights. Don't book any hotels if you can help it around the termini. The reasons are it is very dangerous at night sirens going 247 so... more

We recently returned from a week long stay at the Hotel Giada, a simple, smaller hotel with a nice small-ish but adequate size room, newer or remodeled clean bathroom, a big operable window overlooking a typical Roman street, marble floors, quiet, and great staff service; all for about $190/night. It's not the Ritz, but much nicer, quieter, and classier than... more

Was worried about staying here,( booked it before I read reviews, stupid I know) Excellent position, handy for Termini and the historic Centre and cheap but you get what you pay for, room was very basic, and the drains in the WC were very smelly, (discovered smell originated from shower drain). I found the staff very helpful, breakfast was simple... more

I was "moved" from the supposedly lovely B&B Maggiore on Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore to Hotel Giada due to bathroom mulfunction, and I was not impressed. The guy at the front desk, although friendly, made me think there was some kind of deal going on between my mirage B&B and this hotel. I paid 70 euros for my single room,... more
