This is a small hotel about 10 minutes walk from the main railway station and about 1 min from buses to the Vatican and central Rome. It is central but quiet. We had a pleasant room on the top floor with comfortable king sized bed, immaculate bathroom (shower only) and mini bar / TV etc (which we did not use)... more

I just read the review 'Bait and switch' ,my wife and my experience was in reverse ,Booked the Gambinus Hotel ,switched to The Baileys Hotel. May I state at first that we did not complain openly to the staff. That was not an option on our first visit to this wonderful city an experience which should have included our stay... more

Having selected Baileys as part of an AirMiles deal we were thoroughly pleased with the quality, near to the station & albeit a little out of the tourist area, peacefully quiet and comfortable room after days sightseeing. Staff extremely helpful, good continetal breakfast, very clean and satisfactory overall. We do not think this is a 4Star , though would use... more

We booked Baileys after looking at several hotel websites for Rome hotels and read lots of reviews. We booked for 3 nights and we were not disappointed. It was quite easy to walk there from the Termini Station (we googled it to get walking directions). Our room was very spacious (305) on the front of the building looking out over... more

I don't quite recall which website we booked this hotel from, but we paid for 3 nights and got the 4th free... So money-wise it was a great deal, considering their regular prices seemed steep compared to our 80Euro/night max budget. By the way, anytime you're booking a hotel in Italy, make sure to also try calling them directly or... more

The hotel was in good shape, and the rooms clean and well equipped. The staff were friendly, and foremost: the hotel was in a quiet street without much traffic. The only thing that disappointed me was the breakfast - the options were few, unless you like cake for breakfast, of course. more

This hotel was in a perfect location to see the city, catch the metro, and enjoy the beauty of Rome. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The webpage is true to it's content. The room we stayed in ( 204) was spacious and clean, the bathroom was the same. Soap, shampoo, and toiletries were provided daily. Bathrobes and slippers and... more

We booked a short weekend break in Rome and were given several hotels to choose from by our travel agent (requesting 4 & 5 star hotels only). After reading up many of the TripAdvisor reviews on each hotel, we decided that we would stay at the Baileys. My husband and I usually stay in 5 star hotels, but we both... more

My wife and I recently had the privilege of staying at this wonderful hotel May 26 - 2 Jun, 2008. What a great week! The hotel is located on Via Flavia, a quite side street parallel to Via XX Settembre (20 September), only minutes from the Termini (main train station). One is close to all the major attractions either by... more

The delux rooms are very good. Some of the standard rooms are small. We had the delux room. Breakfast good, not great. Service very good. Location OK. Overall the hotel rates4 out of 5, although our experience was closer to 5. more
